is this working for mac? is there a way? i mean i dont understand exactly what i'm missing, but it's impossible to do this thing online? like is it possible to go to a website to convert a "space vacuum" panoramic into a cubemap, and then convert it into a DDS, and then export to unreal?(i ask because it didnt work offcourse)

Well I got it figured out, you do have to use specific resolutions...honestly though I don't think this is idea for a space backdrop....it's super pixelated even with no compression

The maximum size in NVIDIA Texture Tools Exporter is 4096 not 6144 ... how can i fix this ? tks

I havent watched any of your other videos, but if theyre anything like this... you need to SLOW DOWN. youre not saving anyone the headache of watching a long video when they have to constantly be hovering over pause and rewind nonstop because you go so fast. also the narration is much slower than the actual clicking on the screen which just throws the viewer off even further. Other than that its a good tutorial.

If you're wondering why it's disliked it's because he completely skips over how to install the necessary Photoshop plugin

Make sure to make the new skybox big enough! If it's too small, you will get the weird warp!

Nvidia requires you to be a developer to download

If, like me, you dont have DDS option in save as, go to save as copy ;)

As others mention, I also have a skewed skybox texture while using this technique. Expanding the sphere doesn't help.

Hi there, i personally wanting to add in my own custom HDRi picture. When i try to follow your tutorial(without following the photoshop), it texture says error when i put it into the 'Emissive Color' section. May i know what's wrong with it?

Much too fast to follow along and mine came out all warped and weird looking.

does cubamap still have a trade embargo with usamap?

its difficult to follow because you're going too fast in the video. you're clicking on things too quickly

Mine turned out really distorted, I couldn't turn it in the right position and there were wavy lines all over it when I did, but thank you for the tutorial. need to figure out why the sphere is so dark with the texture on it, but is bright when I turn on the directional light and I don't want to use that in my scene because it casts a shadow. but again thank you.

Why nobody use gimp is free guys photoshop is expensive so better not crack it just use freeware gimp.
