And it has nothing to do with Democrats it has to do with (Common Sense) of wanting a better America, and if Mark Cuban things America is great now, and no, America was great before WW2 ? Before WW1 ? Korean War ? Vietnam Quagmire ? The only time America was great was 1913 before IRS and Federal Reserve, and printing fake money, people like Mark Cuban don't care about common American's because look at his office ? I will oversimplify this, but there are two versions of DEI. We have DEI with affirmative action and DEI without affirmative action. The DEI initiatives in my industry practice the latter. The former is specifically targeted (increase black employees by 10% over two years), while the latter solely aims to reduce implicit bias through embedding blind hiring practices (removing names, race, and or gender from resumes) or requiring the completion of cultural sensitivities training before serving on a hiring a committee. This method promotes diversity awareness and meritocracy without being overly evasive.

so many vivid metaphorical examples and references, this is like Eminem vs 2pac in a polite beef ,releasing track after track in response in support of whether to eliminate or sustain soft affirmative action via DEI stat reporting . their points are like a stack of files in the sense that once one point is printed out and signed by the other party, it is put to rest and another counterpoint response file is stacked right on top of it, awaiting signatures. files from both sides are equally valid. companies might get a faint target on their backs if they don't cater to DEI stat reporting regulations . but on the other hand , it's hard to tell until they exhibit symptoms of loss or social clapback. that said, it does put a strain on the goal of meritocratic hiring criteria. the additional training costs and time to upgrade less skilled workforce could add delays in production lines resulting in indirect losses iincurred. that could also chalk out if it's proportionally adjusted to their incomes in lieu of the placement opportunity provided AKA less salaries if you avail a placement offer via the non-merit route. but I fear that's gonna raise an army of protestors in the wage-gap domain.

Cuban seems good at articulating an acceptable-sounding word salad. However, he confuses terms and definitions. He seems fond of merit, and then advocates for DEI and selecting based on race in the next sentence. He talks and talks, but there's no logical rigor. It's like listening to Chat-GPT.

speaking of cancer drugs Mark, make them less expensive please, my chemo is 10k a dose and it could have been 32k a dose but the VA would not pay for it. Being more known as an owner of Mavericks and affiliation with the NBA, I feel he doesn't really believe all the things he says but actually playing both sides to please the majority audience and do "whats good for my business".
