W5UXH PIC32 Keyer QSO Demo1

This is a continuation of the W5UXH PIC32 Keyer QSO Demo. During this interval, we were on 20M and the audio that is heard is from the K3, but the decoder is still "hearing" the iCW audio path. The acoustics from speaker to mic are poor, but these two videos might give some indication of how the keyer / decoder is functioning.

I think it was in this video that I did a test of two different "compensation" settings for K6KX to compare, and perhaps while the video continued I also switched to "weight" mode.

Keep in mind my only interest in the decoder is for playing around, and I am not that interested in how the decoder works when connected to over the air CW, but as long as you have a decent signal and use the rig filters so the S/N ratio is pretty good, the decoder also works well with the rig.
