Well, I mean, to my knowledge, vinegar is healthy, if consumed in moderation. Apparently it helps to not catch pestilence, and if it helps against that, it surely also helps against other illnesses.
Plus, it's refreshing. Mix a bit of vinegar into your drinking water, that'll quench your thirst. Iirc, that was the drink of choice for the Romans.

Vinegar has been a drink that people enjoy for centuries. I recommend looking into “switchel” from early America. It helps with cramps and they’d leave it in big casks in wells or rivers to chill it
