This may be a really silly question, but I'm a first time RV owner. Where do you dump the anti freeze that is in the grey/black tanks?

Don't forget the freshwater tank sanitizing. Just did this on a new-to-me camper, even though I never plan to boondock. But better bleached than funky in there

If you are using anti freeze + the siphon hose, isn't anti freeze in the strainer & bowl? I usually run water thru this as well when flushing my lines... Or I at least remove it and drain the water out of it if I use compressed air.

Thank you very much for making this video. We just bought are travel trailer last year. Family member helped winterize it but from a bike accident memory is not what it used to be. I dreaded trying how I was going to figure out how to dewinterize our TT. But saving this video to watch I will be able to do it with confidence now. You just got a thumbs up and a new subscriber today.

Simple Easy Awesome. The easiest explanation I have found to understand. I like how you told what you’re going to do. Then wrap it up twice with what 5 steps you have to do. Then you also showed us where the valve peacocks are located. Great! I’ve never done this but feel more confident.

Do you just drain antifreeze onto the ground where animals might get at that. Seems irresponsible to me

Question please... My jayco 29.5 BHDS has the hot water heater bypass and the pump switch right in the same spot as the city water hookup... Do I need to be looking for other switches or should this do it? First time dewinterizing and really don't want to screw it up! Also I'm in Montana so winter just got over it like a week ago😂

Thanks for the great vid. Just found it. I might add a step 1.5 before hooking to city water. I would suck some fresh water through the water pump to clear out any antifreeze.

As a total newbie, one thing I never see (or maybe I’m just missing it) on all these dewinterizing videos is how to know when your tank is full and you can turn off the city water.

We have our travel trailer hooked up to a seasonal spot. We are connected to their water and don't use the fresh water tank. Is it necessary to sanitize the water lines after flushing the antifreeze? We just bought it last summer. Its my first time dewinterizing.

Thank you! Brand new RV'er here, am learning the hard way by moving my family into an RV in middle of winter. We have no idea what we are doing. Can't get water pressure, so looked this video up. Too cold and dark to try those things out now, but I suspect I have a valve somewhere in the wrong position to allow water flow. All I'm getting from the faucets is air pressure, not water.
