Is the new Skilling Boss Croesus any good?

It sounds like the new god book is nice but I wouldn't replace the brooch with it at all.

I tried with 12 different teams and couldn't get a kill. That and the realease day bugs were a real buzz kill for me. I think it was a botched release, I don't see people rushing the boss portal like other bosses. I'm not touching till I get it for a reaper task, gonna stick with the glacor for now. Hoping for a better realease on the next front

I was excited for a skilling boss, but making it a team encounter killed my enthusiasm. I will still do it, mostly for the seed bag and rune pouch upgrade, but it will likely not be fun since I could lose out if my team sucks.

Echoing the comments thus far -- public teams were impossible to win with because they didn't know the mechanics, and I fully admit I play lone wolf and don't really have any friends to team up with, which really killed the experience for me. I went from beyond excited to just disappointed. Also, the shroom path was bugged all day yesterday and there was no way to cross them without taking damage. There is supposed to be a glimmering mushroom in each row that shows you the safe path, but it was not working.

Highly enjoy it. Pubs were a cluster fuck at first considering the learning curve but overall a great experience and really chill.

Why the fuck would you want onxys to go down even more it's already ruined alot of the gp per hour at other bosses

Also using Cinderbanes and weapon poison will deal poison damage on the boss when you are at its core

First I was excited, then in public it got frustrating. A few hours later got back and found a team that didn't ask for a kc as the other ones, learned a lot and got 7 kills on private instance with them. Love the boss xd

Its a boss i'm actually able to do, and i hope they make more like it. Sadly still cant do jack for most of the good pvm stuff.

Just clicked on the video to answer the title. No. Yes I've killed it many times with clan members and even did a 4 man with everyone using double surge bladed dive with powerburst of acceleration. It's just weird, and while I'm lucky enough to be in a decent size clan, It's still hard to find people that want to do it. Then there's public.... We just won't talk about that. I will say this to not be 100% negative, Wear Botg and Gote with rod on, Bladed dive 100% rec but not required. I think it would have been a cool minigame or boss outside of elder gwd. But I feel it'll be dead content before we know it. Like the idea, but don't like the way it turned out. Also for people who only do fishing, the rod o matic slots in main hand and you can use off hand with mobile, no need to use switches.

The scripture isn't a passive effect if you have to equip and activate it for it to work. It's passive effect is do nothing.

Took 7 hours to get my first kc with my group of 8. Then we got 10 in a row.

I haven't been able to find a decent group to try an 8-man. But I did manage to get 4 kills in a public instance once I found one where everyone seemed to know what they were doing. It's a cool idea for a boss and a refreshing change of pace. Here's hoping I can pull some of the cool rewards soon!

i just thaught of a unique way of making gp, grabbing hammers from the wall in your poh, and turning them into whetstones and selling them on ge. might take awhile to sell, but youd make upwars of 500-600k profit per invent

I wish they had given us a solo skilling boss. I have a good clan but theres rarely ever 8 people free to do a boss. The best public groups ive found are in the 2600 skill level world. Hopefully after the boss has been out for a while most people doing it will know the basic mechs. I have heard some players worrying that once people start finishing their logs it will become dead content.

The deposit box at each dead boss allows you to deposit the resource from that corner. I don't understand why you need to go counterclockwise twice?

4 man teams is best ^.^ also if you walk over shrooms. or climb over non glowing you also lose 1 of your recourses

also you pass out. not die. also croesus sporehammer turns into a mining offhand not smithing "want to put 500 alsos here but to much time"
