Ebiking has been a hobby for me that’s stuck. I’ve been through 3 of the cheaper brands with mostly good luck (details below). I’m looking for the best bike for around $3500. This is what I’m looking for:

-bigger tires. I’m often in sand. Live at beach and much of my rides the bike paths have a coating of sand on them. I know fat tires are unpopular here but they actually serve a purpose for me.-28mph+ top speed on pedal-throttle. Don’t judge but I really like having the throttle option. mid drive motor. Realize throttle requirement above may kill this

I still think it’s a good e-bike for the cost. It meets my power needs, look through the manual and turn it into a 5 level PAS instead of the 3Level it comes default factory settings.

I've had an AIMA bike for about 2.5 months and put a bit over 300 miles on it. Loved it so far. Disclosure: I am not a biker and knew basically nothing about bikes before this purchase.

I'm living in suburbs where a walk to work or the nearest shops would be 30-40 minutes. There's also a small city about 7-10 miles away that friends like to visit. I don't have a car here, so I wanted a means of transport faster than walking and more reliable/flexible than public transit. I now use it for my daily commute (~10mi there and back) and getting into town.

I'm definitely buying this. Thanks for the tips!
