Apple is fkn Cancer!. You couldn't pay me to use any Apple products. I've always been a user of Samsung Devices and I've never once had an issue with any. They have been stable, well built, good quality & value for money phones.

I have a decade old iTouch that I still use in my car. It is jailbroken, given that Apple software sucks. I won't buy another Apple product. Apple's business practices are corrupt and anti-American and unpatriotic. Apple is not alone among American businesses on that score, but Apple is certainly among the most egregious. Especially when it comes to the sheeple who worship the company's products. I don't fault Apple so much as the countless fools who put Apple in this position.

This is nothing new, several benchmark tests revealed that after each iOS update, resulted to slower devices. Planned obsolescence is the name of the game and is done by every manufacturer, unlike Apple they just end software support for their devices.
Moral of the story, please check whether it's really necessary to update your devices. "Never change a running system" unless it's faulty ;)

The video fails to say that the update was issued to prevent phones with an old depleted battery from randomly shutting down, which many phones may do, not only iPhones.
Which would you prefer, a phone that shuts down unexpectedly or one that's a bit slower?
That said, Apple should have said how did they manage to solve the random shutdown issue straight away, instead of having users figure it out by themselves.
I really like Al Jazeera, but when it comes to technology they need to improve a lot.

Corporates encouraging people to buy more new phones, should be banned in many countries.
