I think that people have to understand and treat it as a workcation. You're still working 8 or so hours per day. You're enjoying Bali in the evening after work and on your weekend days off.

My question is, do you find you have to keep track of time zones so that you can attend virtual meetings?

If you could could you just live in Asia if you wanted instead of going back to where you are originally in? I see people just travel and work remotely and not need permission from the company to leave the country if they are remote
