The robo voice is awful.

Kzinti were one of the only alpha/beta quadrant races other than Vulcans to develop (really combo stolen tech from multiple species to basic a short hop warp 1 drive), in the original lore up to & including FASA. Their defeat allowed the other local races/powers to expand (other than Klingons, who found warp drives in Hur'q vessels abandoned in their orbit, from an invasion centuries b4 they had space flight ability, reverse engineered around roughly 1990's earth timeline, but never independently developed m/am reactors to power them, using deuterium fuel instead)
