D4 Season 4 Ultimate Necromancer Tier List

I will likely do minions with corpse explosion just for mixing it up compared to my past seasons.

I've played some variation of shadow summoner every season and have basically always used the minions for utility. Gonna be really interesting to see my favorite build potentially at the top and very ready to take advantage of the changes.

I want to try a shadow summoner build in S4......looks cool.

i will try Shadow Summoner maybe later some other variants... S4 is going to be the "Summoner" Season finally....

Question: what is the difference between Pit level 200 vs Pit level 100?

on the ptr i only played with summoners only. but i like shadow too. For Season 4 i will play Shadow Summoner, the Combi =)

I'm going to start with Blood Minions and build into Black River Blood with utility minions. 2nd half of the season I am going to run a custom build I call "Frozen Darkness" that will lean into constant CC and Shadowblight damage.

Let's just wait with lists before we see what goes to live. Blizz might make some suprise moves like dropping the 100% skelly attributes to say 80% or lower.

I can't wait for season 4 I played all the betas and I'm a necro fan and been trying to make a shadow summoner and it hasn't been the same since all the nerfs

I just wanna say thanks, i've been thinking of returning to d4 for s4. Trying to research the state of each class in s4 ptr, and you have covered necro very very well, its been surprising other content creators seem to just be testing the broken builds for the other classes. So again, well done.

Sooo Jin Woo build is top tier now, lit!

PRT I was killing Lilith in less than 3 seconds per phase with Blood Surge minions. As for the pit, made it all the way to 115 and could go higher if you keep pushing.

There was a few interactions people didn't really try out because they are new to the S4 itemization that makes Surge Minions way stronger than previous seasons.

What about best leveling build for summoner think we can just follow the shadow necro

Since yall are necro doods, what do yall think about blizz adding a new Uber unique gloves that allowed all classes to raise skeletons? Wouldnt that be badass? lol

They should have changed cold mages to blood mages.

I would like to see the usage figures on Gauntlet mainly due to the fact it is extremely overrated by you and other elite gamers. to be honest I find it more boring than the plunder in wow. if minions take 100% of your stats is it per minion ( i have 13 so x13) or all minions as one.

Watch out some necro builds are getting nerfed from feedback. Patch notes should be out first week next month. Be prepared kids to look up maxroll again for modified builds.

If the barb gets 4 weapon slots. May sorc and necro should get 2 extra rings.

I turned my necro into a blood surge build according to your specs. I then tested it and was one shooting everything. My max dungeon tier before your build was 50. So as a laugh i tried a tier 96 dungeon. I was killing everything including elites which was IMPOSSIBLE before. I did die a few times because i panicked lol. Disagree about Bone Spirit. Bone Spirit in season 3 got nice features. And in season 4 it will become a CoreSkill. So from now Banishlords Talisman will work with bone spirit. In fact, bone spirit will be a very strong overpowered skill. I think Uber Lilith will die from one shot. A lot of bosses too. Nightmare dungeons will be so easy as in season 3 for bone spirit.

Man… minions is my least favorite part of necro… I was thinking of rolling a bone spirit necro but now im scraping that idea and probably moving classes

Bone spirit is actually one of the strongest builds going into S4... Check out any of the breakdowns of it from the ptr... Free auto crit bone spirits? Its flying under the radar right now due to people getting blinded by miinon buffs. Minions will be strong for sure but all of these buffs only go to show how terrible they were until now. Minions on the hardest content in the game will be good but not the best. Especially with how bone minions have been brought into line. They are A tier.
