Greetings, Christ was very clear that he would return, in the lifetime of his audience, crystal clear. Why? Why would he have to return? To fulfill Yom Kippur, documented in your bible in Hebrews 9. A forgone conclusion. Revelation was fulfilled 66 - 70 A.D., which is 3.5 years, exactly the length of time that Daniel and John said the tribulation would last.
