Sorry Matt, but you are missing a lot of what makes the sport of drag racing with that generalization of Drag racers. There is a variable that is involved when it comes to racing ICE engines that EVs do not have. So essentially anyone person can run an EV. But you lose the part of what makes ICE vehicles more of a sport, Reaction time, understanding the vehicles grip limits and varrying the launch at times, understanding the proper cool down time and when to run it optimally. Sometimes tunes are involved and changing maps for optimization. There's skill in understanding a lot of that. And thats what drag racers tick
