They forgot one thing to mention the price there's usually a good reason for that priced out of most people's price range

I just looked up the price on Alltera's website ( $6.000 ) these are very nice rifles but at the end of the day a Ruger American $400 rifle will shoot just as good as this rifle will

I just looked at their website and their ready to ship rifles are $6k to $6,500 without optics. A half M.O.A. guarantee with factory match ammo at 100yds is not abnormal these days. I think they are trying to put themselves in the same space as Gunwerks ,GA precision, Alamo precision, Impact precision........ but without the lineage. A competent person could get the same performance out of a 1k Remington sendero with 1k worth of trigger and gunsmith work and have 1k to spend on reloading equipment and still be at HALF the price of their bare rifle.

It's kind of disheartening to see the direction the industry is going with the trust fund baby pricing on everything these days. I hope everyone starts selling their old Remingtons and tikkas to "upgrade" to something like this lol.

Hey everyone, new to hunting and not ready to spend $6,000 on a rifle. Does anyone have suggestions for a 30.06 bolt action with a threaded barrel? I was looking at a Bergara B14 but they don't have a factory threaded barrel that I can find.

Ok. Maybe not a ruger comparison is the appropriate But there are many other smarter options that will save $. How about seekins havak , Springfield waypoint 2020 , a good ole t3 action w proof prefit barrel on stock of choice , and don’t forget the tikka veil, Bergara divide coming out soon , etc to name a select few.
No reason to waste money on this to obtain a 1/4 “ of “ maybe “ moa. It’s smarter to spend the money on a better optic.

Good vid. I am constantly amazed, not to mention quite envious, of the sheer volume of choice you guys in the US get when it comes to anything to do with the shooting sports. And that all leads to healthy competition which keeps the market ticking along just nicely. Here in Australia, it’s take what you get, and pay through the nose for it. Cheers from Down Under.

I can tell you these rifles shoot. I won 1 thru hunting fool. I chose 6.5 prc in mountain shadow steel. After shooting 2 fouling shots it shot 3 more in basically same hole with hornady 143 gr eldx factory load at 100 yds. I honestly probably wouldn't spend that much on a rifle, but just letting everybody here know they shoot. It's a great light weight hunting rifle. I haven't pushed it past 400 yds yet but can tell it does what they say.

There was a statement

Statement not accurate.
Only proof I have..
See that small picture with the black rings there a throwing hatchet or axe in the wall She found her distance. On May 7 2021. She only 5 foot tall.
This weapon was made for
average male or size. My wife's arms are far shorter.
Be a waste of money..
She paid for her own bushmaster AR 223. Loves plinking. Some women by shoes she paid for a case of 223
She tell any one 33 x 30. 990
10 spare shots 1000 rounds are gone. Some wife husband
Pick out that believe best.
Different my wife tried the 223

What is the lock time GUARANTEE? The most important thing on a hunting rifle is fucking lock time. If the factory understands that they make all the rest excellent. They know hunting and what a hunter needs. Like Blaser, Blaser R8 is the rifle for hunters. Believe me, I have killed thousands of big game. 70% standing freehand.

Most shooter can’t shoot 1/4” at 100yds (.25 moa) and it takes a fine scope to make it happen. My advice, buy a less expensive rifle with a good scope and practice, learn to reload and hone those shooting skills at distance.

1/4" MOA on a hunting rifle for the price of a new ATV. I'd bet 80% of the hunters in the field are not 1/4" MOA shooters on their best day!

DO THE MATH! The difference between 1 MOA and 1/2 MOA is insignificant in comparing hunting rifles. The only time it would be worthwhile is if you had to shoot a three shot group into the eye of a deer or elk. And for the same amount of money that this rifle costs, you could buy enough really good 1 MOA rifles for every member of your family. The only reason to buy this rifle is that you want a status symbol rifle. There's not necessarily anything wrong with that as I am sure only people who can afford this rifle are going to buy it - but that's the only reason to buy it.

It's always nice when money is no object and you can plunk down the big dollars for a rifle like this but, this is the type of rifle that is more of a crutch for rich beginning shooters.
In the same way that all of that expensive sonar technology helps fishermen find the fish that they would otherwise never find on their own. This rifle is well suited for the novice wealthy shooter who doesn't know how to work up loads or do any basic accurizing on their own.
If I had the money to spend, I'd buy one, even though I've managed to get my two Tikka T3 rifles to drive tacks. It took a long time to get there but it cost a fraction of the price of these rifles.
