गुरुकुल पद्धति अच्छी है यहाँ विद्यार्थियों के गुण देख कर उनको शिक्षा मिलती थी ना कि मार्क देखकर क्षेत्र में जाना पढ़ता था! आज कल व्यक्तिमत्व विकास , चरित्र बनानेसे ज्यादा विद्यार्थी कितना होशियार है और आगे जाके कितना पैसा कमाएंगे इसपर ध्यान दिया जाता है! गुरुकुल मठ मंदिरों के पास ही होते थे ताकि जो दान दिया जाए उसका भी समाज के लोगों को कल्याण हो सके , शिक्षा व्यवस्था ,आरोग्य व्यवस्था भी दी जाए ! गुरुकुल व्यवस्था में विद्यार्थी समाज से भिक्षा मांगते थे और शिक्षा और अन्न दोनो मिलता था ऐसी व्यवस्था से ही समाज के प्रति ऋणी भी होके कोई बाद में समाज से कटता नहीं था ! आज कल तो बाजार बना दिया गया है शिक्षा व्यवस्था का , गुरुकुल पद्धति दुबारा शुरू होनी चाहिए !

Being grown up in Punjab, I always felt that we always had been left behind in shaping minds of our youngers because of frequent invasions, be it Mughals, or modern time drug mafia. I would urge to start gurukuls in Punjab as well!

I. Live in USA. I know here they say, that Indian immigrants are the most successful in the USA. I say, India has been a confused society neither go to prachina samskruthi nor go completely with western ideas. As for Sanskrit it is like Latin for European languages. As we all know India is a subcontinent with several languages and dialects. Once there are muslims( the largest immigrant group) Urdu and Persian and Arabic mingled. If we want to bring Sanskrit and gurukul back, I feel the world has to take care of their own country and cut off ties with the rest of the world. I feel each language people can be a tribe and work towards their progress and samskruthi. This idea of one world and Eurocentric or western centric progress and control is what is wrong. Schumacher wrote a book” Small is beautiful”. Progress and community is possible when the land and tribe is small.
Patriotism , passports, visas are all discriminatory. For now, India has a serious identity crisis, with so many outsiders occupying, looting and schooling us for such a long time.
