I love this knife so much! I ordered this one on the first drop and absolutely loved it, so I ordered another in the recent drop in the anchor gray color. I have two now and love them. Perfection!!

I wish it had thumb studs. No hole. Personal preference

Side note, Skiffs has the LC size listed at 5mm and 3/64” 🤔

Do you prefer this over the Drift L? Curious on this one cause it has slightly thicker blade stock.

I absolutely love my LCT! I got it with the intention of selling my LC200 but decided to keep both.
I love how they both have sticky sharp edges out of the box!

Imo the drift line was optimize for thumb flick and not reverse flick which is why the hole placement is just a smidge off from ideal positioning.

Don’t get me wrong. It’s still very easy to reverse flick. I’m just saying it doesn’t seem like that was the main deployment intent when they positioned the hole.

Still a 10/10 knife. Just wish they’d release more knife designs on bearings and full ti. Like the rincon or an entirely new killer design.

Ps. I believe they used Teflon washers to go along with their whole rust proof ethos and advertising image of being designed for use on a ship bc it can’t rust

Oh and you’re not alone, I “skiff” every knife in my collection besides like civivis. I once sat down and calculated how much I’ve spent on just skiff bearings (because I keep all the original bearings in the baggie for the gifts just in case you know and label them) and it came out to something over $800 spent just on bearings😅

Even I had to cringe a bit at the amount of money I’ve dropped on bearings

I know you like to rotate and use your knives but honestly with the branding you did on the Rincon if I was you I would exclusively use it as the knife to open all packages. As for the drift and QC they are awesome and you have and always do an awesome job reviewing thier knives.

Give it a shot and have two channels because poeple enjoy falling asleep to that stuff or becoming calm or whatever the lure is . Them barbershop vids put me to sleep right away . I think this will be equally popular . They get 100s of thousands of people to subscribe to the asmr stuff like this . I actually just found this knife before I came across your video. And it definitely checks all boxes for me for a super sharp EDC. Now I'm only stuck on which color to get? lol I dig the full silver, but I also like the black PVD coated model. I think probably the plain one hides damages the best in case u ever drop it on accident.

I am a big fan of QC, and own several of their knives, but the LCT I received was a disappointment. I found my version uncomfortably difficult to deploy (especially reverse flick). Maybe it's the detent or the way the blade holes are sized and positioned, or some combination of both. I contacted QC and they suggested "building muscle memory by practicing" with it, and that there's no issue with the engineering specs. That's not helpful to an experienced knife owner/user and repeat customer. The Nine and Drift L are far better choices from this maker. Maybe I got a lemon, but now I'm out shipping both ways and a QC restocking fee. Caveat emptor.
