Soft Farmer's Cheese Cookies: Goose Feet Cookies

I have a story on how I discover this cookie. And I actually like it because it's not very sweet. The only sugar i used is the dipping sugar while folding them.
The story:
I always speak of my friend all over the middle east and one of them was an OFW in Dubai. We chat a lot when she was still there because she does not do a lot when her boss was not around, she only take care of their two college students children.
One day one of them brought a female friend from school apparently was from Russia. She made this cookies and my friend was recording and taking pictures. I liked the way it looks and I wanted to try it. It took me forever to look for a recipe, because my friend did not asked what kind of cookies it was. All she knew was there some cheese in it.
Lo and behold I found it but the measurement was in metric. Whoa! I don't have scale to weigh flour and butter. So, since i found out the name of the cookie i looked for standard measurements. The first time I made this was in 2015 and I been making it ever since. "End of Story"
My family does not like it much because it's not sweet. And I like it because of that. It is crunchy in the outside and doughy inside.
