Hi Mike, so if you had to choose one between this & Flagship's Black Water, what would you prefer to choose for more volume and texture?

Your description isn't clearly differentiating Devil from Enigma. I bought Enigma. It was awful. The scent was off, the pump broke almost immediately and it made my hair spiky. Since that experience I have given up on Lockhart products and concentrated on Shear Revival and Kevin Murphy.

Good to know. I'm in the fine/thin hair camp and Enigma, even one full pump, is just too much.

I love the scent of Magician! Excited for the Devil to arrive, it should be great for my thin/fine hair. Enigma works well but I tend to use too much, where as Blackwater I find it doesn't hold well when I use it alone.

The devil pre-styler might be exactly what I’m looking for. I really like black water, but it makes my already dry hair even more dry so much so that I don’t need (can’t) add a post styler in my dry wavy hair. I’m willing to give up on hold strength at this point so will need to give this a try.
