In the midst of a 22” 6.5cm build as week speak. I just got the call yesterday that everything but the barrel is in. Pretty fired up to get it together and go shoot!

My 22” 6.5 is 17lbs.
Heavier barrel than yours but I shoot it prone and with tripods so like you I don’t care about the weight.

Dang dude, that is an amazing tool, one of the best I've seen. For distance accuracy with the velocity and payload to do the job, I just love it. I need to get my father something like this as he would smile every time that he shot it and watched the prey fall or heard that almost magical "ting" on an iron target. Wow!!!

Sure ain’t no mag pul bipod

I like seeing that someone is into their builds. I shoot one very similar, From the back I run a Vltor EMOD-A, JP silent capture system with a Aero Precision M5E1 upper, Superlative Arms bleed-off gas block and a Bannish 30 can. I run 130 grain Sierra TGK @2840 fps. Yes handloads. It shoots sweet too. 1/4-3/8 groups 2 100. I have run it out to 500 but not any further yet. Keep the videos coming, great content.

I just chrono’d Federal Terminal Ascent 130gr 6.5CM out of a 14in barrel and my Garmin showed 2533fps with an 8-shot group. Different ammo I’m sure but closer than I expected you would say yours was. Great video, brother. Cheers!

Try the new 100 ELD VT from Hornady. Getting 3150 in my 20" Proof. Pretty good results on pigs with it so far.

If you don’t re-zero, how much impact shift you do have/see each time you remount the optic? What is acceptable to you; curious?

I know there is some shift, because nothing /no mount will “perfectly re-align every time”.

I built one last week with a proof 6.5 24 inch, I wanted to go out this weekend, unfortunately it’s been raining all weekend.

Looks sick but why a 14# 22” 6.5 creed rifle for hunting? Especially with thermals? You hunting a golf course where you can go prone?

I would like to see some 3 and 5 round groups. Im running a 6.5 creedmore also with a 22 inch bull barrel. Mine is 18 pounds.

I have a Smith & Wesson Performance Center AR10 6.5, unreal. For some odd reason they discontinued that rifle. I changed the stock to a Magpul PRS, mounted a scope, Atlas bipod and Ultradyne apollo max brake. It will shoot 5-shot .5" groups with factory ammo, I haven't even bothered handloading for it. A smooth AR10 is a joy to shoot.
