How much should I spend on emotes? $30 per seems like a lot

I didn't mean for it to happen but my parrot indi became my communities mascot. The little chicken talks in her sleep so my entire twitch community starts typing TICKLE TICKLE! Guess I know what I need to make my emote of. Have you done a video explaining the different subscription tries and if you can give out an emote without a subscription? Your word is literally gold! I'm growing so much because of you!

hello! i got a quick question. i was an affiliate already with 3 emotes but i just recently created another account where i stream in my native language and i got affiliated there as well. can i use the emotes i used on my first account on this new account as well?

This does help a good amount. I became affiliate recently and I am trying to make emotes for my two subs. So I am trying to find out what I want to make, but this did help a lot.

BIG QUESTION for ya wild, all of your amazing advice helped me to get affiliate (thanks by the way) and I discovered that this month I might hit 15 subs! With that, I get a second Emote slot! Super pumped! So I’m just wondering, if the next month I get less than 15 subs, so I keep my 2 emote slots? Or does one of them go away because I no longer have 15 subscribers? Hope you can get back to me, thanks for all of the help you’ve given me before!!!

I don't have affiliate but I got a few emotes done already, right now I use them on discord, I have it set in my brain that my cat is gonna be my emote style as I do allot of cat cams

Can I use a pair off covered up boobs? See it's a joke related to my stream (Dark Degan). Whenever someone subscribes I want to tell them congratulations on your big Hooters (because you know Dark Degan's initials are Double Ds and thats my sub badge (DD) and well you get the rest)

I only have photoshop on my iPad and I am lost. I have made plenty of emotes but when it comes down to 28x28 even when I import said image into it it just becomes a blurred mess and I’m not zoomed in either. I use a contrast tool online to check how it would appear on my phone which would be the smallest size and it’s just blurred and I’m at a loss of what to do. Any help would be gat I’ve looked and done everything I’m at the end of what I can do

Watching this 2 years later. I just got Affiliate today. I've tried to make emotes, even modifying colors and simplifying the design, literally made it as simple as I can. But the smallest thumbnail example is too small to see. It looks fine in the big and medium thumbnails. But as soon as it goes under 30x30, you can't tell what it is. I can't wrap my head around it. Coming from a 10-year digital artist used to making high detailed illustrations.

How do you make emotes?

I'm kind of wary to use myself as a personal branding image because I change my appearance so much! I know consistency is very important for branding and I would LOVE to be able to have a cute little chili of myself that is used in lots of stuff, but In the past year I've had brown hair, black hair, purple hair, blue hair, and finally blue/pink combo hair!

3 years on Twitch and still haven't made emotes cuz its so overwhelming. My community loves Zelda, ACNH, and Pokemon. But should I be worried about copyright? You see a lot of people with ACNh emotes. But then. If Im hiring someone, shouldn't I be worried about the emotes being copy/paste? If a designer keeps getting requests for Tom Nook emotes, won't they just send you ones they sent other people? I wouldn't care about that but if my community thinks its cheap then thats weird. What about being too random? I have no idea what kind of emotes to do and the community doesn't have much inout. I think Mrs Doubtfire emote with the word "Hellooooo" would be cool because he does that in the movie with shaving cream on his face lol BUT thats super friggin random. Or like SUSSY BACA with Hank from Breaking Bad haha. Again...copyright? What if its my face I mean that seems selfish. Idk we dont get enough slots. If we do my face I would kinda want it to just be a real pic of my face with a funny expression. I DUNNO!!!
