In this video of 19 min, I'm walking you through the installation of Rocky Linux 8.4 (Green Obsidian)which is the predecessor of CentOS 8 after Red Hat shifted direction with the CentOS Stream project to use it as an upstream OS.

Rocky Linux 8 promises to stay around for a while until it reaches the EOL (End Of Life) on May 31 2029.

For me, there is no doubt that this Red Hat twince will be the next CentOS brother for companies and cloud infrastructures like Amazon, DigitalOcean and many more.
