2023 ILDA Awards, First Place, Fenning IDN Standards Technical Achievement Award - “First Professional IDN-Based Laser Show”, Laser Spectacles, Inc.

Description (provided by the entrant):
For the first time, ILDA Digital Network (IDN) streams were used as the sole signal source for a professional laser show. I was asked to perform a show for the students at a local elementary school. I learned to use a simple Java program called “Parsec” (written by Dirk Apitz) to record and playback all of the pieces in this show. I set up and played the pieces directly into IDN streams which were recorded on my laptop hard drive. At the show itself, setup went as planned with no problems at all. From my experience, IDN proves to be a reliable and easy way to do a complex laser show.
