ОтветитьMy personal (unverified) theory is that hasmaps are called that way because the hash symbol # could represent the idea of 2 dimensions (grid) opposed to an array which would be a single line

ОтветитьIf you are working with modern JDK, you don't need to copy and paste the "String, Integer" into the second <>. Only paste "String, Integer" in the second <> if you know you are coding on an old JDK.
