Mmm i starting to think how i failed my quest. I destroyed the cocoon before to talk with him in the woods. And i notice the cocoon dont respawn anymore. Maybe and just maybe is one of many ways to fail this quest.

At 7 min 20 seconds as you are making your way up emerald path/ shrine you stop and absorb a type of ball thats in the mountain , this isnt there for me ?!?! What am i doing wrong

In order to get the horses whip you need to find him in all areas where you can. When you get him to the cart pull the whip. At first you won’t be able to. You will have to proceed like 40 steps up the stairs to fight the Koi boss. When you defeat the Koi boss go back and pull the whip. You’ll get the whip. If I’m wrong and you don’t get it after that boss fight. Wait until you beat the final cart that opens the secret area

One thing that's missed so during the Bishui fight, if you have it attack the ice wall on the other side of the arena, it'll destroy it. You can run through during the fight to get an awakened wine worm and another material. Then if you keep going you'll reach another boss arena and can continue the Bishui Beast fight in its ice form instead, which is apparently easier than it's fire form.

I can’t seem to find him in chapter 4 I didn’t even know he was there. Now his whip isn’t in chapter 5…. Great

If you load back in to the secret area before the golden eye boss there is an opening and I’ve moved through it but it leads to nothing..

I hate having to watch all these secrets of each chapter only to spoil everything for myself. They really should’ve added a map I never noticed the horse guy in chapter 3 or 4 smh

just to mention if you beat chapter 5 you cannot go back and talk to horse guy and do his quest

You can actually get the bull to join you in the 3rd cart fight, after defeating the second cart, go back and talk to him again

my rusty gold cart never triggers, i think it bugs out

I accidentally never came across Ma Tianba and learned about his quest RIGHT after the point of no return, really disappointing. Without backup saves I have no way of completing it or until I get back to this point in NG+. At the end of the chapters i like to look up guides like this to make sure I didn't miss anything. But I should be looking at these guides upon starting a chapter. Maybe I haven't found it but there should at least be something in the journal listing quests even if they are unknown so we know if we have completed all the content or not. Similar to the lists of characters/Yaoguai. This is maybe the only thing I don't like about this game. Nonetheless thanks for making these great guides they have been super useful!

Hello, i accidentally forgot about him on chapter 4 and progressed to chapter 5 furnace valley and there was the whip i pulled it but no dialogues prompt as I've beaten the one guarding it and also missed chapter 4 conversation am i still goin to get the whip after beating the required bosses?

In the same area as the Flint Chief, instead of going in that cave, go left and follow that and you'll find another Spirit next to a golden chest that gives you kun steel

The Ox was fighting the cart in the Emerald Hall location in my game had to talk to him after the fight I didnt need to backtrack.🐒🤷🏽‍♂
