This scene was put in because people heard spock was going to die
ОтветитьLive Long & Prosper, Kirstie. Still my fav Vulcan, besides Mr. Nimoy, of course. <3
ОтветитьRIP Kirstie Alley
ОтветитьCame here to pay respects to Kirstie Alley. This scene was her first screen appearance. Rest in Peace.
ОтветитьRIP Kirstie Alley!! Live Long and Prosper.
ОтветитьKirstie Alley will be missed...Second star to the right, and straight onto morning.
Ответить"Well, now you have something New to think about. Carry On..."
Ответить"Cheers" to Kirstie Alley. 🙏
ОтветитьI don't care what anyone says. THIS is what I'LL remember her for!! Cheers what?? Is she like the only Vulcan to cry in the franchise??
ОтветитьSavvik warned that Kirk had never faced the no win scenario a foreshadowing of the many no wins soon to come
ОтветитьBest Star Trek Movie, According to IMDB
ОтветитьLieutenant Saavik is Half Romulan and Half Vulcan
ОтветитьDid She Change Her Hairstyle?,Dr McCoy
ОтветитьThank you Kirstie. The kobayahi Maru is a no win situation but you won in life. Thank you 🙏 for everything. Enjoyed every bit of it.
ОтветитьLike Kirk told her it was a test of character. As the situation deteriorated, she kept giving orders that were appropriate for the situation. She saw it as a failure because she didn't resolve the problem when in fact, she aced the test.
ОтветитьLove and prosper Kirstie Alley. RIP 🙏 🕊
ОтветитьKristi Alley will be remembered & missed from my heart. Great performance she made in this Star Trek.
I was hoping for her role to be the new Spock onward in the film franchise after The Wrath Of Khan concluded.
She was perfect as Vulcan officer, maybe she is now wearing that uniform other time, other place...R.I.P
ОтветитьFor those wondering, that star date is Friday, May 13, 2327 at 11:07AM.
ОтветитьYou know, the whole "Saavik is being mentored by Spock" thing strikes me the wrong way. It's like she's his baby girl and she is told I think that she WILL succeed him on the Enterprise. How's that? Vulcan nepotism, that's what. What's the deal between those two and why doesn't Saavik have to compete with others to land that spot on the Enterprise, the flagship? Even Kirk had to move from the Farragut. She should be assigned to a smaller more insignificant ship until she proves herself. How is she a Lieutenant if she's just out of the Academy? Isn't that an Ensign? She is not qualified to be First Officer yet and it is WRONG of Spock to basically promise it to her.
ОтветитьIs her hair different?
ОтветитьDoes the burning helm and communications instrumentation know that there's NO SMOKING on the bridge.
ОтветитьGod she was hot
ОтветитьGreat compilation, although I would have liked to have seen Spock's death at the end, where he asks what Kirk thinks of his solution to the Kobayashi Maru, and also the scene with David, where Kirk confesses he's never faced death.
ОтветитьSo when exactly did humanity lose the technology for circuit breakers so the panel doesn't explode and kill everyone nearby when there's a power glitch?
ОтветитьRead a spin off book years ago about how others handled the test. Can't remember how they all went. Sulu just sailed blithely on by, Chekov went in all guns blazing and was blown up almost instantly and Scotty rigged up some sort of super phaser that destroyed more Klingon vessels before being overwhelmed than what they had in their fleet at the time. Something that worked fine in theory, so the simulation accepted it but in reality would blow themselves up first.
ОтветитьThe Kobayashi Maru was always a fundamentally flawed test. It doesn’t really demonstrate anything about the test subject/s when they know they’re in a test. It’s like dying in a video game, you don’t really care. Worse, the cadets have to fake that they care since they know they’re being observed. It’s like in quantum mechanics - the act of observing the system alters it. The test and its incentives are all messed up.
Ответитьi like that the rest of the crew in the simulation pretends to die and falls over
ОтветитьSavik take a look at kirks record .. Virtually all of kirks victories have been a no win situation.. But he still outwitted and won
ОтветитьShe was such a hottie back then
ОтветитьI've always thought the elevator scene was clumsily acted/written.The only flaw of a great movie.
ОтветитьI noticed she says "send out the log bouy" pronouncing it "boy", I thought Americans pronounced it "boo-ey"
ОтветитьKristie Alley is the best Saavik!
ОтветитьWhere's a couple of V'GER torpedoes of unknown guidance systems and composition when you need 'em.
Ответить🫘⚽️☕️
ОтветитьMeia volta
ОтветитьJá tentaram conversa com os Klingons?
ОтветитьKirstie was so beautiful in this movie, and she played a vulcan to perfection.
ОтветитьWhere is Kirk and why is the captain a woman?
Ответитьok, this is the most stupid thing ever, but it's a bit ironic for me that Spock, played by a Jewish actor, is calling Kirk's solution to the test his "final solution" (also played by a Jewish person). I wonder if they realized this while filming.
ОтветитьKirk:. Prayers Mr. Saavik Klingons don't take prisoners.
Literally the next film
Kruge: I wanted prisoners!
I liked that the 2009 film showed him cheating the test, even in an alternate reality Kirk still did the same thing.
ОтветитьI’ve said it many times. They need to stop storing the dynamite in the bridge control panels
