Soooo worth it!
ОтветитьThe best I’ve ever seen there after about ten trips is the Westin hotel.
ОтветитьMy first ever luau will be at The Old Lahaina luau, they’re aiming to open next month if staff are ready🤞 as I’ll be in Maui at the end of February
ОтветитьTrust me it's worth t tradtion is everything
ОтветитьBefore booking, I encourage research esp reading as many reviews as you can find. Also most luaus serve Hawaiian food, not North American fussy-eater appeasement type foods! If you or esp your children do not like trying new things like fish or BBQ sauce -less pork, skip the luau! We recently attended the Feast and Fire Luau at Outrigger Kona and despite my research I was nervous about whether or not my 15 yr old would eat, based on reviews I read. He agreed he would try everything he was given and not only did he do that, he skipped dessert saying he was too full from dinner 😂
The venue and show was awesome too! Only issue we had was tiered pricing doesn’t accommodate the 13-20 year olds, who are likely not having endless Mai Tais, etc. Prices are often the same for 13+ as adults, which is a bummer as luaus are not cheap! If you’re just looking for show and not so much the food, consider a trip to the Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu. They have great performances! Aloha! 🌴🥥
Germaine's Luau on Oahu! Loved it!
ОтветитьI think it's worth once, not every time you go to Hawaii.
ОтветитьBeing a kamaaina and growing up in a hawaiian ohana, luau are always worth the time our culture is rare and fragile. In 65+ years i only go 1 professional kine all the rest were ohana kine. Enjoy them no matter what. Aunties and uncles singing and dancing too good. Always nani. Go... what you got to lose. E komo mai
