Video is a bit old now but just wanted to let you know this review was great, so much so that it just convinced me to go buy a switch and this game. Need something stress relieving right now. Basically my whole family got covid over Christmas and things are looking sort of bleak. Hopefully we start the new year in good spirits and health but until then, I'm hoping this game can keep my mood up!

I’ve never played a Animal Crossing until New Horizons, and honestly this game is so cute and so much fun! I’ve also met some cool people as well who were so kind to have helped me out on many things!

My sister really enjoys this game so much, I remember the times she wanted to get a nintendo switch for that game.
How she did look so hype to get that game, and she did consider it as cute which she did got want she wanted since
She got a nintendo switch for her Christmas aka the animal crossing new horizons nintendo switch she really loves it so much.
And she does lets me play on her own nintendo switch, even though I am also getting my own nintendo switch in February
And of course I did find it funny from the times, my own mom see the game herself aka the gameplay of it she did consider it.
Like a video game only for two year olds to play, which I was like to her this it's a video game for anyone to play video games are for anyone.

I definitely think new leaf was better at launch but the 2.0 update will probably change that.

Cannot stand this game. Honestly what do people see in this?

This is coming from someone who experienced most of the game with all updates complete, 5 star rating island and the DLC story mode being completed so yeah. Loved this review since it was one of those reviews that made me think of the past of when everyone loved the game before they hated it went it wasn't complete yet. Those who hate the game need to give this game another chance because the future updates really make the game better from holiday events and NPC comebacks to more custom design slots, more reactions, a whole lot of villagers being added and a literall DLC on the dot that links up to the main game, to my opinion, this game should've won the 2020 awards even if back then wasn't complete and I give this game 10/10 because of how much content Nintendo gave us in the past 2 years.

I bought this game for Nelson, my friend recovering weed addict friend. The one person who absolutely detests video games. Now Nelson is a very moral individual, and views himself as all fair and loving, so what I did was gift him this game for Christmas, and that was basically the only way I got him to even try this game.
Now I'm a 32 year old grump, so imagine his surprise when he realized I spent a total of 224 hours trying to convince him to play new horizons.

Does this mean since I only play in the evening after work it will be forever night time in this game? I'm not cool with that.

And they still didn't patch the multiple user issue. It's literally the only thing keeping me from buying the game

Ive only just got it, a little late to the party 😂. And got a switch for my girfirlend and i to use for co-op games (mostly) the co - op on this game had made my overal rating down. Why it couldn't just be split screen and you can do your own tasks rather than basically having a shadow who can pick stuff up for you. I think its better as a 1 person game. I havent worked out online yet but im assuming its still the same, amd people cant do their own tasks and that?

People like ac because it's an easier real-life. stuff that seems impossible to do in real-life is so much easier in the game you feel like you did something

Late comment, but I bought a switch lite and AC during Covid. At the time I was in the army and we were working in Miami (swabbing noses at those Covid stations). We stayed in our own rooms at a Springfield suites for 3-4 months. Played the shit out of this and BOTW, especially when it came time for our mandatory 10 day quarantine write coming off of orders 😂

I couldn't remember the name of this game and I once referred to it as garden babies and my friend laughed but he instantly knew what I was talking about. I also once referred to it as nature's helpers. And the person still knew what I was talking about 😂
