Nice work as usual Steve.
ОтветитьWhy is left side needed?
ОтветитьSteve, I would say your way is the best and more reliable than Stephen Hendry's in just using Stun and of course, not too much power. For Stephen's way to execute perfectly, this needed 3 attempts. Very good as always in explaining with broken down individual scenarios as to "what would happen if". It's easier to fall into the trap in thinking you need to place emphasis on power, and also taking your eye off the ball and not following it through from the convention pre-shot Routine.
ОтветитьBrilliant video Steve! Top class as always!😊😊
ОтветитьGreat video as usual Steve. 👍
ОтветитьVery important shot to master as it can provide win or lose of the frame.
ОтветитьIm not good at speaking but i would like to know how much need to high the back hand when you grip cue and when you drop your body to table by the way every single your videos is very helpful and very useful many thanks
ОтветитьWhat a marvellous thorough precise coach you are.
ОтветитьGreat detailed explanation. Also I like the cue ball and power meter on the screen. Excellent video Barton snooker
ОтветитьWhat is timing
ОтветитьI asked for this video ages ago, I'm sure that wasn't the catalyst for you to post it, but you didn't disappoint, great break down and lesson on how to play this essential shot!
ОтветитьI improved my game.... Am good at positions ..now i have btr understanding of the game but still lot of work to do.... Thanx alot
ОтветитьRespect for leaving those missed blues in. Arcing the white in such a short distance to be precise on the pink, with power, is such a hard shot. Excellent video, off to practice this soon.
ОтветитьI remember Henry in a video talking about smashing the pack off the blue. I wouldn't say it's accurate he used the screw the blue, although the effect might look like that.
He played stun, just below centre, but I think it's the only shot he said he used to raise the butt of the cue so he was striking down on the ball a bit more. He thought he could more reliably control hitting the pink ball full in the face this way, which was the main focus. Obviously striking down the same stun will grip on the cloth more and pull back towards your side of the table when smashing the pink.
That's the way I heard it and interpreted what I saw anyway, and it does seem pretty reliable when I've tried it.
Thanks Barton, it really helps a lot. 👍
ОтветитьHeadcam ???
ОтветитьAs always sir ❤
ОтветитьCan you make a video on how to find the good rhythm when playing
ОтветитьHi Steve, really enjoy your videos. I’ve been up my local club a lot lately - really trying to make the next step up to making more 30 and 40 breaks. I’m finding myself getting a bit frustrated during my practice sessions though. I don’t feel as though I’m progressing as quickly as I would like. How would you recommend structuring practice sessions? I feel like I do a few drills but then get sucked into playing a frame and trying to make a break or two in a frame situation. I really don’t know how best to plan my sessions.
ОтветитьHi. Mind if we know why you spin the cueball (bottom right) instead of just bottom. Thanks.
