@VanishaGlamChick6 For what you want, get a PAF style bridge pickup and a similar one in the nick such as PAF PRO bridge i beleive, and PAF JOE Neck. its on Dimarzio's website. check it out there.
Ответить@omfgwtfbbqsauce m8 nice playing . I have the ibanez grg170dx do you think Tone Zone as good choice if someone wants to play with lot of hammer ons like Maiden Live solos etc? ty
ОтветитьGreat vid! are these pickups any good for modern day metal?
Ответитьhey man nice work.. what exact model of ibanez rg is that? thanks
Ответить@cocomartinievera This is the RGR321ex
Ответить@cocomartinievera Sorry, my bad, this is the RG2ex1 :)
Ответить@procletnic but where"s the other knob?
ОтветитьCheers, can you please tell me if your guitar is made out of mahogany wood? And your fretboard is Ebony? Kind regards.
Ответитьwhat are your amp settings on here? I just installed my tone zone/air norton combo in my rg2550 and I find the tone zone is a lot deeper and lacks some treble compared to the original pickups but I like the tone you're getting. what EQ settings?
ОтветитьI like all the Paul Gilbert in this video. I saw a Mr.Big song and the Paul Gilbert song
ОтветитьI have that same poster. Handy for 4 bucks.
ОтветитьThis one and the Evolution are my favorite DiMarzio pick ups , they´re very versatile and the tone is fantastic , we can play from Van Halen to Cannibal Corpse with them .
Ответить@frobank there were 3 things by paul gilbert. he is the guitarist for racer x and mr. big too.
Ответить@omfgwtfbbqsauce Nice pots will bring the attack to life in the tonezone. Higher value ones will even bring it past that of evos IMHO. Alnico 8 magnet in the tonezone is to die for as well.
Ответитьawesome vid! Thanks
Ответить@MetalzShredah550 Its like changing the oil in your car man. If you've done it once, you think 'that was simple and will have no problem repeating this.' If you need help with it, write to me. The A8's can be bought by a popular source on the ebay.
Ответить@MetalzShredah550 they can be bought on ebay and are simple to install. The risk of damaging the pickup is there but do it once and its cake. Again...to die for. If you need help, message me and i will stop highjacking. -RB
Ответить@SpearShark Look up "Metallica - To Live is to Die (Seattle, 1989)".
ОтветитьCould use a little technique work, but all around your playin' style wasn't bad. I know the vids about the pick up, but had to give ya props for your progressions up and down the scale.
Ответитьis that an ibanez rg2ex1? lmao i might get these for the same guitar :) i fucking love the thing
Ответить'Just ordered a Tone Zone this week...
Ответитьwhat ibanez is that?
ОтветитьHi! Great sound! Where did you find the "I cannot tell a lie" backing track?
Ответить@rrgert4 yup, you can!!! i have a dimarzio tone zone (bridge) on my 1991 japanese floyd stratocaster. cheers!
ОтветитьA little bit rough some places, but overall I liked this ;)
ОтветитьI got the same ibanez! I'm think in of the dp 155 on the neck and the dp 100 on the bridge.
ОтветитьHi! very nice sound! :) i have a question though. i don't really know the difference. what would you recommend for the bridge pickup. a tonezone or maybe a paf pro? thanx:)
Ответить@omgwtfbbqsauce, which is a better all around pickup for crunchy notes, and soaring leads, but still have a nice classic rock tone?
Ответить@omgwtfbbqsauce, the last comment was between the tone zone and the evolution
Ответитьtone tone is great for down tunning, the sound is a really huge and little bit dirty as down, corrosion of confornity, crowbar and others stoner bands. i prefer him on les paul. JB has a more treble, for tz is suitable strong good strings 11-52 two steps down to D and a recommanded solid mahagony body and neck with rosewood fingeboard. Tone zone is real metal killer.
Ответитьdeathmetal hmm, probably emgs 81/85 set or, seymour duncans, blackouts or Full Shred would be your best bet
ОтветитьNice one, yeah I reckon one the Tone Zones and EMG 81's best feature is they both make a bad sounding or lifeless guitar (ply or multi piece bodies) sound super cool. They don't seem to open up the body wood tone. If you are after a little less gain but the same 'airey' harmonics the airzone is another goodie! Thinking bout a Tone or Airzone for my Jem 777.
Ответитьkok suara dimarzio kayak suara sruling ya aneh
ОтветитьThey especially sound great for rock.
ОтветитьThis guy has to much in common with me. Taste in music, clothes, guitar, even the vans boxes in the back. lol
Ответитьi have the same poster haha
Ответитьi need your opinion...which of these 3 would be better for playing stuff like bfmv, bmth, metalica, blink 182 and papa roach stuff...the tone zone, super distortion or the d sonic?
ОтветитьHi Micheal, I see you've said that your bridge humbucker is the Tone Zone pickup, I was wondering if you wouldn't mind telling me what the Neck pickup model is? thanks. ^_^
ОтветитьThis is a dumb 'tone test'. Any decent tone test would at least demonstrate what it sounds like in clean mode without any effects.
ОтветитьThis pickup is the best bridge or neck?
ОтветитьIt's the Ibanez INFINITY pickup. They come stock with the low end Ibanez RG's and their other guitars. He just bought the Dimarzio and installed it with it.
ОтветитьPretty cool. I know this is a demo of the tone zone, but what made this demo better than any others, is that not only did you play a few of Pauls riffs, but the Maiden thing in the back ground.. Awesome! Like the tone, but will never get a tone zone. The bridge pups I have in my three guitars is a SD3, Dactivator and the D XN2. The neck pups I have are the Cruiser (single coil), Dactivator neck and the Evolution Neck...I'm good with tones for sure. But I appreciate the demo..
ОтветитьHahahaha LOL michael You will get a evolutions hahahham....
Ответитьlove your reviews playing a couple of songs, keep it up
ОтветитьNice playing dude :) i love that Carvin cab you got there!
Ответитьibanez rg 421 ??
ОтветитьToo much reverb, not a proper demo
ОтветитьWhat the string gauge?
ОтветитьGreat tone and playing, dude.
ОтветитьI want to swap out the 496/500 in my 2000 explorer. How would these do a 9.5 pound hunk of mahogany? I have a 498t in my SG and a JB in my Les Paul and want some variety. Thr 500T just feels too pigeonholed for me.
