WICKED: Almost a Dream Come True

There's only ever been one musical that I can honestly say I like. It's Paint your Wagon, and it's definitely more than just a few years old. I'm glad to hear this one's good though. I just hope my wife doesn't make me watch it. 🤞

I’ve been also waiting for this for 15 years and I was also at the same time still not as excited as I thought I would be but I’m happy to say I was blown away. I agree with some of the filmmaking issues but I was just surprised to see them nail the important beats of the story and making this feel like a full movie even though it’s only part 1. Great review!

I have no interest in seeing this movie but had to show some support. My favorite musical in recent years is for sure La La Land, might be my favorite musical of all time. Love that movie.

Good review man, I'm glad you actually liked this film! This was one which I didn't have high expectations for initially, but seeing the positive reception it's been getting has actually gotten my spirits up a bit and I'm actually looking forward to seeing it this weekend, so I hope I enjoy it!

My favorite movie musical was Chicago, I saw it in theaters four times.

So I never have seen a live performance of the musical. So I found the movie overall just a pure love to that musical knowing the story only. I think ur criticisms are valid. Recent musicals I liked…….. I mean I really enjoyed remake of West Side Story

Ive never seen Wizard of oz or know any of the music. Does the movie hold up enough for me to watch it without knowing anything? My fav musical recently was Wonka

Wicked fan will love the. Movie even if was just a puppet show 😂 so you can be as honest as you won’t hurt their desire for it nor will they eat you a live for it 😂
And Hollywood knew this and that why their marketing and mechanizing was off the WALL
They had all the confidence and prob arrogance to assume the fans would be on Borad and BOY were they right
Worked it’s all right , not the best magical by a LONG shot but better than other films in a while and that’s….sad

Not huge musicals at all, but one of the favorites for sure. We are excited for Part 2 for sure! Great job Sully, keep killing it!
