Problem #1:
Trump doesn't understand how tariffs work.
Trump thinks tariffs are paid by the country exporting the goods. Tariffs are actually paid by the [American] businesses importing the goods.

When Trump looks at a beautiful sunset, he doesn't think it's beautiful because of the deep reds, yellow and oranges illuminating the evening sky, he thinks it's beautiful because he imagines how great he looks looking at it

As a person in the country of germany:
F*** no we don´t prefer Trump. The BRD and the USA have a very close history, as our country was founded on american principles and improved on these using new experiences... Trumps america hurts everyone, just like brexit hurts Britain. The only germans who´d prefer Trump is our own faschist, pro-n*zi AfD... these being people who say that members of the SS weren´t all bad and that we should deport millions of citizens to Africa (which is a plan nicked straight from NSDAP playbooks). So no, germany doesn´t prefer Trump. German neo-n*zis do

Most businesspeople are actually in favor of Harris this cycle because she will not burn the Constitution, and sustaining the Constitution is more important than any payment or specific economic policy might be.

I think the Silent Generation, the ones who fought in wars for our independence, are more likely to vote against Trump. The Boomers and most Gen Xers lives through a generation where they weren't under the constant threat of war and being enlisted for it. They know a time if peace (well, much of those who weren't discriminated against did). They didn't have to pull themselves up from nothing and through a crumbling society following a depression or a war. Many rode off the backs of the generations before them and the burned through the wealth selfishly where other generations used logic to understand that our society will collapse if we don't looks out for one another. The talk about how entitled other generations are. The truth is, they are literally the embodiment of entitlement.

Sadly, Millennials, Gen Zs, and Gen Alphas know next to nothing but war and school shootings. I remember crying on the way to school as a kid when Columbine happened. I remember being in 7th grade and watching the second tower be hit during class on one of those old CTRs mounted to the wall in the corner during 9/11. I was too young to remember Reagan, but I know his policies led us to where we are today.

I'll be completely transparent here:
I'm a firm believer that once you are no longer working, you should not be able to vote. Many of the Boomers have retired/are retiring. They are no longer in the market that determines taxes, policies for businesses, regulations on Congress, and the like. You can't vote until you're 18. I don't think you should be allowed to vote after retirement age, either. At that point, you're very unlikely to change your views to what the modern-day worker needs to excel. You are no longer actively contributing to the work market and GDP. You're normally very set in your ways and expect things to stay the way YOU'RE wanting them. Your contribution to society's growth has significantly diminished, yet you're still given the right to vote on things that will affect me but not you because "I had to go through it, so so do you," instead of attempting to better my situation. You seem to have nothing better to do with your time but go to church and then push your radical ideals into the US government for policies that may affect me for 60+ years (12-14 more election cycles), but you'll die through in 15-20ish (3-5 more election cycles).

The truth is that I and other youngster generations are stuck with your junk science, before-the-bubble pricing, religious theocracy BS-led policies that we'll have to fight several cycles to fix when you'll die off, having none of those changes affecr you because you're already out of the bracket (student loans, anyone) (not that this is obviously she definitely not all Boomers and Gen Xers, but I stand by my voting statement).

Why should you be allowed to decide on my future when you are not the one having to deal with its consequences and got us into this situation in the first place? It's your generation's poor choices got us here, yet you keep blaming us for all of this. Please go and sit down and let those actually trying to contribute to the John market and better our futures attempt to fix the fucked-up situation you've forced us into against our will. Older does not equate to wiser. Experience does, and we clearly have more experience in the woes of the world and society than you do

It is utterly useless trying to interview Trump because he just shovels out insane bullshit lie after insane bullshit lie after insane bullshit lie after insane bullshit lie in a floodtide. It's literally impossible to keep up with his endless stream of lies and disconnected fantasy. NOTHING this man says has any connection to reality on any level. He either makes shit up or what's left of his melting brain is making up false memories because all the actual ones evaporated long ago. This is why it's impossible to pin Trump down on any of his lies and fantasies because he's not only gaslighting the American public but he's gaslighting himself and doesn't realise it.
