does the bolt need to be locked back when taking rear cap off? I hate myself for not picking one of the Sterling "semi pistols" from S.O.G. 15years or so ago... they sold them for $239.00 I thought that was kinda high. lol!!

For the barrel removal on the Sterling, have you tried using a slightly snug wooden dowel rod into the chamber end to control the barrels rotation?

Remember learning how to use these in the RAF 30 years ago. Nice for short range. Hardly any recoil. Cheap as chips. Look cool as well.
