Yeah the Michael Aaron book just says Allegro con brio. So without a note value for a metronome I say play a speed that you like!

I remember when i played this piece when i was somewhere in third or fourth grade

i played this song as a kid but it was so slow in comparison and i no longer remember it B)

I am playing this song as a practice to 3rd grade and it is not that hard and not that easy in the same time. And amazing piece btw

This song is written in 6/8 time and to me , that is way too fast ! I have always played this song in the slower 3/4 time , which I think is much more enjoyable !
I learned this song when I was taking piano lessons !
