100% farm Ibuki shards over hard missions.
Missions will always be there, while Ibuki shards won't. You also get a bunch of extra resources like credits, equipment blueprints and tech notes or BDs, just make sure you sweep the stage that will give you the resources of the specific school that you need.

Thanks for the video and informations, very helpful to me as someone who's played for only 2 weeks yet, but man, the first 8 minutes or so genuinely felt like you explained how to make scrambled eggs by giving a guide on how to hold an axe to cut down a tree most efficiently to get the wood needed for a chicken pen in which the chicken are to be kept from which one gets the eggs for the scrambled eggs. It's not useless or wrong but really not what I clicked on the video for.

The event does give pyroxene actually. You get some as reward for doing the piano practice, and each lost item you find is 25 pyro

I farm Ibuki for one reason:
She's literally free to get (and uohhhh)

As someone who has been using Ibuki for the past year, if you have Iroha as well you'd be a fool to not farm for as many shards as possible. I can't stress the value of a student that can hit nearly everything on the screen at once for as much damage as she does.

UE50 today, as every normal human being does.

I'll go for the shard, hard stage can always be farmed another time.

I leveled her up to UE30 so I may as well continue up to UE40 at the very least

Hard stages at x2 reward will be available many times so there's no need to worry there

You get so much credits and mats on top of the ibuki shards not even worth thinking about farming anything else. Easily worth getting the stam pack / doing 3 refills too.

There was a time when my only mystic students are Iroha and Ibuki. They totally carried me through all the blue assaults and missions until I got Battle Hoshino and Shiroko Terror.

Hard x2 isnt much compared to Ibuki + Bluerays/technotes + equip box x4+ 300k credit per Ibuki stage

this game is like never ending game of catch up, levelling up is so expensive the the rng element is ass, glad it's just filled with cute girls and none of that matters
