I think a few months ago you confused people ending what was the reason people followed you: making cinematic videos. Your followers didn't want to follow a singer. You tried a comeback and of course it didn't work, not only because the video trend is phasing out a bit, but also because you clearly had no passion and kept mixing personal stuff too. I think you should have given your courses for free when you decided to stop travel videos. Sometimes we collect far more than what we give. Personally I was disappointed when you stopped your courses but didn't give them away. I felt used. You made me like you, you made me follow you and they you dumped those faithful followers. It's my personal thought and I'm probably not the only one. I'm just trying to convey what I feel hoping it can help you improve your new channel.

My gut tells me that a lot of views are long form content are going to fade away... seems like short form format (shorts/tiktok) is eating everything alive

It's like this current channel is penalized in some way? BC if the topic will be the same, why not using this channel? Leaving it with almost 300k subs must be really hard!

Don't do it!! You have this backlog of amazing content, don't turn that machine off! I just found you last week and I've been watching 5 of your videos a day. If all your subs were like me, you'd have 1M views a day. Start the other channel sure, but don't let this channel die on the vine. Keep it going with low effort content or content that's outside the new channel's optional niche. Also having your name has the title is on brand for you. I don't trust "capture x" channel or whatever you call it. I watch you over bigger more polished and more well thought out channels because you feel like a friend to me. Don't trade away the "feels like my friend" vibe!
