Tom Krause sings Schubert.[ Standchen and Abschied,]

Like me you have probably heard many versions of these lovely songs,I think the word exceptional describes my feelings about these two Tom Krause recordings,thanks for you comment and I just love the piano of Irwin Gage,makes these recordings as you kindly put exceptional.Irwin Gage plays a lovely piano on the recording of Gundula Janowitz "Im Freien" Schubert on my site,perhaps you would let me have your opinion of his part in these lovely songs.Many Thanks.

Irwin Gage plays with restrained intensity - like a coiled spring, ready to burst into action with the music. I love these renditions.

Teddyb1939, wonderful! I have waited like the moon to rise to see this LP of him here. If it is possible in any way: could you digitize the whole LP? I not, at least some more songs like Liebesbotschaft, Die Stadt and Aufenthalt? I have promised my Schwanengesang LP to anyone who is willing to digitize it, and it is yours if you like.
