I must say.. the STORY is amazing in this game. BUT the gameplay is terrible. If someone randomly starts to play with, nothing makes sence, no guide, nothing really explains to you how to do things. Its like the creators thought "Well new players surely will understand everything without guide, comments or any type of guide"

I was minutes away from buying this game because it's on sale and the trailer made it seem like a modern Skyrim. But it's... a digital board game with a million cut scenes? Thanks for posting this!

I can assure all the haters here the only reason you don’t like this game is because we’re in the era of short attention spans and ADHD and this game isn’t a fast-paced shoot ‘em up. People keep mentioning Spider-Man 2. Yes it’s a great game, but it’s the same repetitive shit as the first one and the Miles Morales version. If you like linear gameplay with little to no variation then sure, bitch away, but that doesn’t mean games that don’t cater to your simplistic preferences are shit. Coming from a guy who’s never played BG and really enjoys both linear and complex gameplay, so this isn’t a biased take. Swear people like to bitch and whine just to bitch and whine.

Turn based is simply an outdated format that needs to die. This game could have easily beel 3rd person or 1st person with live combat, and it would have been just as good.

Too Big, thought about getting a copy since I love the Baldur's D&D type games but this game is literally 140 GB.

Over-hyped and overrated unfortunately... Icon design doesn't match item design, which again doesn't match portrait design. Audio fits scenes poorly... Levels resemble XCOM levels, just poor in overall aesthetics. Appealing game if you are a fan of DnD universe, otherwise not a hit in my opinion. We need a change in the gaming industry...

Amazing cinematics; like a good movie for teenage fans of d&d; but the game play does not feel like it's as good as the pathfinder games

I will absolutely never understand these game developer's decision to give every NPC in the game a voice and talking animations, but then the MC has no voice and just stands there like an idiot. It just ruins it for me. Like every other character talks why can't mine?

Man, i loved the graphics and storyline, but i friggin hate turn-based games with a passion. It's su unrealistic to wait for everyone (including the enemy) to take turns attacking, so stupid. SMH

I can believe that the story is good, but the fact that its turn based is annoying. May as well read a book if i wanted nothing but story.
I really enjoy story games, but i couldn't experience all of Baldur's Gate's story, id think id top myself before i got to the end.
