Why you need a US PayPal account?

I cannot sign up a PayPal account here in Guam.

I have been able to setup business paypal account just with the ein of my llc of non resident. So far add no problem or need to get ITIN. I also contacted the paypal support to ask them if all was ok explaining my situation before starting receiving money just to make sure it was safe. Since august, so far receveid arround 2000usd. Hope I won't get the need of ITIN in the future!

When registering, I signed up for a Business PayPal, but for SSN we used EIN and now I received an email from PayPal that I need to update the information because it does not match the data with the IRS.

They are asking me to send them a W-9, but there is also an option to send a W-8. I assume it’s better to send a W-8 along with an explanation that I registered a PayPal business for LLC and used EIN thinking it was okay?

I registered business PayPal as a foreign-owned single-member LLC, and I am not a US resident, have never been to the USA, and do not have a green card.

Do you have any experience with this or any advice?
