just making the blue matte made the such a huge difference, turned it from a good figure to an amazing one.

I'd recommend possibly trying a metallic pink for the circuitry effect, but otherwise this turned out awesome!

I love how you mentioned how "metallic" he looked after you finished, cuz in the comics, 2099's suit is actually metallic micro-fiber. But (after bulking up) for atsv, they decided to make his suit act more like a digital hologram, which I love

hey ken, i wanna say if you do cell shading, you have to really go in for it, what youre looking for is contrast, you want all the colors to seperate, it would also be nice if you added highlights, i would suggest taking pictures of the figurine from different angels and using those to determine how the light and shadow should look

Tbf I feel like you could have gone harder with the black, I always thought 2099's suit was black with cold lighting making it have blue highlights.

I think the shadow needs to be lighter

Cel shading ideas: the regular blue color but with some kind of shadow/darkness absorbent/seeking paint or really dark blue paint that either changes to a lighter blue with light/heat or really dark blue that absorbs light to make it lighter but not in small quantities but when hit directly by a strong light it turns to the regular blue. And please don't correct me if those kinds of paints don't exist

For the darker parts of the costume, how do you think a really dark metallic blue paint would work? I feel like with the right lighting, you could get this good pseudo cell-shaded look.

I feel like the base figure either needed a bigger trapezius muscle, a shorter neck, or a combination of the two along w connecting the shoulders to the trapezius muscle in order to rly bring out his shape n size from the movie. But the figure looks way better w all the touch ups and changes!!

Miguel O’Hara is my 2nd favorite Spider-Man after Peter Parker. I remember reading the original comics run of Spider-Man 2099 when they originally released.

Idk if you're into import figures, but I think it'd be cool to see you try cell shading the new mafex Scarlet Spider.

The harsh shading helped the orange areas pop and "glow" really selling the cybernetic-ness

I don't see why they made the cape not removable, you barely saw him with the cape during the movie, it was only shown during his first appearance. They could've at least made the web cape optional. Personally, I wouldn't have even included the cape, I would've included some red web pieces.

Hey Ken, I feel like the Red should also have been darkened by you as it is somewhat near the same shade of the "UGLY RED" you don't like on the MCU Spider-man figures n also SHF too used darker red AND THEN ON THAT YOU COULD make the lines with lighter metallic red to make it more textured and jump out 🤷‍♂
