Aww I’m so sorry to hear that Sailor’s tactile feedback is uncomfortable for you! I agree with the squeaking that’s a no for me too, but I like the pencil like sound of Sailors, so I enjoy them. I do understand that everyone has different level of sensitivities to sound, so it’s completely understandable to not like Sailor! Do you feel the same about Platinum? They have a different level of audible feedback, but it’s there too! If a pen is too smooth - I lose control of my letters and it becomes ugly writing lol! So I need a nib that’s not too smooth.

Ooooh I might need to give Pilot another go and try the 743 - it reminds me a lot of the size of the sailor 1911 and right now that's my favorite to write with. I can see why you like that ink - it's gorgeous! I think feathering is a deal breaker for me too. I only have one scented ink - KWZ smells like coffee - but if i use it too much it triggers my migraines. Also yes Twsbi Ecos for the win!

Now I have a Pilot Custom 743 on my wishlist!
