The thumbnail changed from her to you :P She wasn't pretty enough?
ОтветитьOh i was waiting for this one, can't wait to hear the genius! :D
ОтветитьWow... Another great interview Chase and Elle! Thank you!
Ответить"Not to be too woo woo about it"--Why qualify?
ОтветитьGreat interview, amazing how much you guys resonated.
When she mentioned that in the indonesian language there is no "should", I remembered a Radiolab episode where they talked about a similar thing, that in vietnamese there is no "should have" and "could have", so people don't live with regrets, they simply don't think about what could have been, because there is no such construct in their language, which makes them live in the moment a great deal bigger than in our germanic languages, loved it!
By the way Chase, I think you would have been a great doctor, there is a lot to the "people" side in medicine that makes a good doctor, such as listening and in general being socially strong, which I think would have suited you quiet well ;)
It was amazing, she is adorable and inspiring, and Chase is my new favorite interviewer! Love your cool stlye coming together with attention, sensitivity and curiosity. Great combination! I live in Hungary, had no idea who she was, but started to listen, and it so worth it! Thanks for this!
Ответитьbeautiful story.
ОтветитьI was looking forward to hearing that one. Love her book! Great tips and more great book suggestions :) Thank you!
ОтветитьGreat interview. Just watched it twice in a row to make sure i processed all this valuable info! I love the section of the books, great the The Little Prince is in there. It's been such a french classic. It's great for kids but also for adults. All about the imagination. Thanks so much, Chase, again, again,... Can't see it enough! I am so grateful!
ОтветитьI had never met Elle before this interview, but I am glad that I did. What an amazing person. She has a lot to add to the world.
Ответитьchase, please start a podcast. I'm sure Tim wouldn't mind being second on iTunes to you :P
ОтветитьGreat interview!
ОтветитьJust spiritual Love episode! 🙏❤️
ОтветитьIt's fascinating to compare this episode to, say, Sir Mix-a-lot. Or Sir Mix-a-lot to Tim Ferris. Or Tim Ferris to Austin Kleon.
Chase finds a way to get on the same wave length as his guests, and to guide the conversation where they are most comfortable. In doing so, the answers come out naturally and the insights can be profound.
It's truly been a fantastic 30 days. Now get some rest Chase, you've earned it
Thank you Elle
Ответитьdahm shes so calming
ОтветитьI was LITERALLY STRUCK in my heart on that last part
ОтветитьI love this interview. Amazing to hear Elle talk about the fullness of a day. Beautiful work. What's the name of the personality test/theory you guys discuss? I missed the reference..
ОтветитьThis is the first time I've ever heard anyone talk about the "conveyor belt of thoughts that drop in randomly" - one of my favorite 30'days. meditation has helped calm the chatter - great work Chase Jarvis
ОтветитьI like this video series, but when she said "I can't remember the last time I experienced the fullness of a day, the temperature and the flowers and blah blah blah." What does that even mean? You are creating this weird parallel universe where there's some crazy undefined beauty in mundanity that doesn't make any sense to normal people but because of the poetry it somehow resonates with them, and makes them as neurotic as you are.
Focus on the big things, the little things will take care of themselves once you achieve the big things... Don't try and guide your life around some unknowable feeling that you';ll never feel even if you have everything you want. Just be grateful for what you have and you'll get somewhere.
She is herlself like someone coming from a dream, one of those rare etheral beings and her voice is so smooth I could listen to it all day long.
ОтветитьThanks so much Chase for interviewing Elle! Wonderful job and keep up the amazing work! Love to you! ♥ :D
ОтветитьAmazing video! One of the best in the series (All amazing).
ОтветитьOk this one ROCKS! Love this out of the box thinking!
ОтветитьBeyond amazing. Thank you.
ОтветитьI am so grateful that you created this body of work. There is so much revealed about how each of your guests and thus all of us are one of a kind with our very own signature of brilliance that we impress upon the universe. Thank you for creating and inspiring us to create! Merry New Year!
ОтветитьI've listened to this podcast 5-6 times already in the last two weeks. It's weird when things seem to make sense when your ears are ready to take in the information and prior to that, the mind fights itself in order to protect it's ego. I ordered her book off amazon out of curiosity the first time I listened in while I was painting in the studio. It arrived today so I opened it this morning and finished it tonight. I read it in chapters throughout the day and it was like revisiting a year in review. From the moment shoulds became recognized, then understood, overcome and then the musts strengthened as a result until it was the only viable option. Literally I listened to this podcast, made the conscious decision to listen to my heart so I quit my second part time job to free time for art, sold a painting that same night, bought my flight to Spain to put an offer on a studio which i hope to convert into an artist retreat and now there's no looking back. I don't think I would have been able to comprehend this interview or the subjects discussed a year ago since I wasn't ready...or maybe this journey could have started much sooner. Anyway, who knows and who cares...haha - Regardless of all that, Elle Luna has a heart of gold and a wise soul and your 30 days of genius playlist is a breath of fresh air. Thanks for sharing Chase!
ОтветитьI love the CreativeLive 30 days of Genius! Been sharing your videos with all my friends. Thank you for creating this series, and of course Happy New Year Chase, wishing you the best for 2017.
ОтветитьWow!!!! What just happened???? That has got to be my favourite yet!
I keep saying it about every video you do but this is quite honestly the best yet.
I am unfamiliar with Elle and her work but am sure to now order her book and follow her on IG. There were so many things she said that resonated with me. (a few times my eyes even leaked some water).
Thank you so so much! You've helped me get in touch with what I must do and fulfil my soul. The puzzle pieces are all falling in to place. Thank you xxxx
Solid medicine. Thanks for the invitation to listen.
ОтветитьYou guys talked about how the characters in the dream are different reflections of you and how life is like that too, and this interview is the manifestation of that, I felt like she's speaking to my soul as if me in another life, with more experience talking to myself at this point in time, extremely profound. Thank you chase for bringing these ideas to our lives.
ОтветитьHey Chase,
I like what you said about the body and mind as a false dichotomy.
One of my psychology professors introduced me to the idea in my first year of university.
This summer, about 20 years later I read a book called Mindsight. In it, Daniel Siegel made a very good argument for what I understood to mean the nervous system was ALL part of the brain / mind.
If your peripheral nervous system ( everything outside the brain and spine ) aka the rest of the body had some type of awareness or "intelligence" we should listen to and be aware of it. I couldn't agree with you and him more. The more I listen to IT, the better "they both" work.

discontent is an amazing catalyst for change in life. I am there right now! Yes so so true. Everything is falling apart, yes will grab it and see where it takes me. Thank you so much for such an interesting, inspiring conversation.
ОтветитьWhat a wonderful person (and guest). Your guests are always so kind, so giving, and humble (even amid their success). Back watching these shows after some personal issues and feeling grateful to have this library of ChaseJarvisLIVE to watch!
