Poor little thing. I will never understand people who can turn a blind eye to the suffering of animals. All my cats were either strays, shelter cats, or given to me by people who didn’t want them anymore. I just don’t get it. My saddest story involved an older cat, we were out on some dirt road in the middle of nowhere in East Texas. I was sitting in the back of a pick up truck, so I was looking at the road behind us as we were driving, when suddenly a Siamese mix darted out of the brush on the side of the road and start running after our truck at top speed, as if her life depended on it. There were no homes within miles, someone deliberately took this cat out there and left her. She was the sweetest thing. The people I was staying with said they would keep her. I took her to the vet for them, and bought them everything she needed. I left Texas feeling happy that she had a home and would be ok. Had I known that they too would dump her (at a farm, they told me later) within a few months, I’d have bought her a plane ticket and brought her home with me. I still think about that cat, and hope she eventually found someone to love her.

What kind of horrible country is this?? Only one person had the heart to save this beautiful little kittens life? Shame on these people. Thank you guy with the beard.

Fostering is so difficult, every single kitten that I have "fostered" has become my cat. The bonds that grow in those first months are incredible. They would look at me and I just knew that I was their person. I have fostered older cats, those were difficult too just not as much as the kittens.
