L R Start resets joysticks
ОтветитьI remember when these colors came out and thinking they cheapened the look of the console.
ОтветитьI had the transparent green N64!
ОтветитьControllers just don't have rumble packs. They made a pack you could stick your Gameboy games in and then play them on your 64. I still have mine. Lol
Ответитьmade me a little bit sick seeing you flicking that joystick like that bad bad
Ответитьi got 1 for my birthday when it came out, played it 3 times and never touched it again and it just kinda disappeared, just didnt gaf about it
ОтветитьTbf your backpack is a bit pricey.
Temu has a 50L for like whatever you use your discount on probably 40 buck canadian
That’s one of the rarest colors too.
Ответитьive always loved how the colour is more green then light blue. i got the same one and this is like one of my favorite colours till today probably cause of owning this system and controllers.
ОтветитьPS won cause you could pirate games
ОтветитьStill have the clear green N64 console and one controller from when my parents got it for me as a kid. Haven't tried to use it in like 15 years. Sadly the second matching controller to it was stolen, along with all of my games from back then. I had two other friends who had the console also. So the n64 was for sure the most used console of my childhood. Sure, there was the Playstation but I didn't play that as much back then.
ОтветитьThat difference in color between the box art and the actual console... just like what Nintendo did with Switch Lite...
Ответитьexpensive ahh merch you got linus
ОтветитьWhy would anyone cancel you over unboxing an already opened and damaged box?
ОтветитьIronic title
Ответитьcertainly from 8->16->32 is a pretty big performance difference...its just the areas of performance that it affects is vastly more pronounced.
ОтветитьTitle made it sound like it was going to be a sealed one. SMH.
ОтветитьFor how they had a deliver magazine for $1.5 per was first obviously inflation secondly it was a massive ad for everything Nintendo so as long as they were breaking even it was great for Nintendo free marketing, but really if it was just a magazine in 1996 $1.5 was they were making a profit, I had a magazine I got in 1997 that was a robot kit that was $2.5 per issue and they were giving you circuit boards and stuff and it wasn't free advertising for any other service or goods, so Nintendo was making a nice profit on that plus free advertising ontop so they were doing well.
ОтветитьJungle green was my favorite color 😂
ОтветитьAh, pre-internet consoles and games. Where the idea was to make an awesome experience instead of fishing for tribal brownie points on social media.
9/11 really changed the world in ways people don't comprehend, all for the worse. If you were old enough to comprehend those times, you understand.
Has anyone noticed how the rare collecting and value of pristine kept Nintendo products is not a thing in Japan and Europe? I mean think about it, the prices and collecting are insane in the US, in Japan and Europe it’s just worth nothing and they move on to the next gaming experience. It’s strange, even the Japanese mad pal games are being sold and shipped to the US for collectors 😂. Maybe it’s us
ОтветитьThis system uses analog region locking
I.e. there's tabs in the cart slot you can rip out
Your only limitation is NTSC vs PAL
I had a red 1 😊
Ответитьthe n64 is the worst successful console ever made. if anything were released in this day with similar expereince like this console was it would be shred to pieces by consumers. very limited games librabry, most games ran like utter garbage (10-20 fps) while also looking mediocre and often at best for its time compared to competition, and now for the final hit that will drive people mad but i am gonna say it. even though in some ways leading up to what modern controllers are, it is the worst controller ever made and the way it was used in games is absolute dogshit. without nostalgia and growing up experience on this device most games are by todays standart unplayable. before you hate on me go get a n64 and no not emulation with higher framerate and resolution and different controllers. get a n64 with an original controller and play stuff like zelda. it plays like dogshit, just the truth. and now try to defend it from todays point of view. and dont come at me with every console aged so bad. the ps1 or even older nintendo systems did not age so poorly like this piece of garbage. the snes aged like fine wine
Ответитьyo, try retrobit tirbute 64 gamepads for the n64. They are with gamecube sticks and dont suffer the problem of the stick getting less and less working. Otherwise there is a guybrush trick with a rope and I think something like creme? There are couple of tutorials to fix the issue of the n64 stick to dig deeper and deeper into the plastic, so the stick moves more bad, the more you using it.
Oh an brawler 64 is the last alternative. Your welcome.
I have the Ice Blue
Ответитьthis really shows how pointless this channels become
ОтветитьOver 60 games supported the Expansion Pak
ОтветитьYour making mad money you can buy another one why would we care
ОтветитьI had a black one and eventually a see through blue model. Nintendo always put the power supply on the cord. But the placement is better than on the damn wall.
However the middle of the cord could have allowed them to shrink the console a tiny bit more. Only about the distance that power supply plugs in.
We have the expansion for our n64.
Only way to play all the stuff in my favorite game perfect dark. Also other games i had required it. Or required it for the parts i liked.
We had 4 controllers abd we made used of them alot. Mario Kart, perfect dark. James bond, Mario party. Etc
As a matter of fact my first n64 almost never got turned off. I think the first one the all black one got stolen. But around the clock it was on when i was staying at a friend's for a few weeks or so over summer. We had constant 3 or 4 player matches. Even when i slept someone else was playing. Like this one female who stayed there was addicted to Tetris attack when we wasn't multiplayer-ing and she played it hours straight all night.
Let's put it this way you have more fun if your friends are with you and when you take a break you do other stuff but we had the console on even with 4 players we was waiting to challenge the winners.
So we played different game modes. King of the hill is fun but we mixed and maxed weapons and secondaries in perfect dark. Did the custom setup. Was nice because even with 4 humans you could have 8 bots mix or match on teams or everyone against bots.
All my friends neighbors came to play too. Awesome gaming days. But of course i also had a PlayStation.
PlayStation got less use unless it was more solo gaming. I don't have Mario 64 because i beat the game a few times and a friend had banzo kazooie. It was a newer game. He beat the game so we did an even trade.
I forgot the vehicles and drivers in Mario Kart 64 were 2D sprites!
ОтветитьThis was the color of the N64 I grew up with. Was my favorite console for many years and still holds my favorite game. Eventually, my sister dropped it out a window and it would freeze if someone touched the console or if someone jumped in the same room. We got it late into the life cycle but 4 siblings playing 4 player on one console was a great memory.
ОтветитьAnd now xbox is at least doing the see through colors on their controllers.
ОтветитьI love it when a specific type of console design displayed on the box actually is in the box
That are a few for Nintendo 64 although I like my Donkey Kong 64 PAK console box
As it's okay on my point of few to store a boxed TV console in a shelf for own desire or presentation, I find it questionable to just do it the like with built in battery-based handheld systems that better need to be used and/or being charged once in a while at least
So do I own a few and it's an anoying thing to keep up charging my devices I don't use regulary
I might keep an eye on replacement-batteries though
Greetings from Germany
I had that same color N64 as a kid.
ОтветитьLinus, you should know that even in the same software region, many people had different plug shapes and voltages...
Ответитьlmao what's the point of having it if you won't even remove the plastic wrapping jfc 🤣🤣
ОтветитьI'd be more likely to cancel someone for keeping this system boxed up and unused.
Video game history should be used and enjoyed.
I remember the power supply being great. It removed the power supply from the wall to the console, clearing up space at the outlet for more things. If you ran multiple consoles you had all these bricks to try and find a way to make them all fit.
ОтветитьFun Fact: When you started up the console the sticks would calibrate to center. So if you are holding it to the side on boot up it calibrates that point as center and you have to restart the game. Most likely while Bell was losing lol.
ОтветитьI had a transparent purple 64 iono how rare tht was
ОтветитьWow, i never knew about these, I seen several of the controllers in pawn shops and thought they where crappy 3rd party models lol.
ОтветитьI think for the atomic purple there were aftermarket n64 consoles made in that finish.
ОтветитьThat's meant to be played! It's not new so surely nobody can get mad at it being used for it's intended purpose 😂
Ответитьi want that box n64
ОтветитьI'm going to cancel you even harder now. Those colors are correct. I had the controller growing up.
ОтветитьHa , never new Linus had a second channel 😮
ОтветитьThey refuse to restock the orange plates, big mistake!! 🙁
Ответить
