Frikkin' '65 Plymouth Satellite, Black on Black, convertible. Sheeeeit. Super-cool!!!
ОтветитьLet's face it: The '70 'Cuda is an awesome aesthetic.
ОтветитьGreat content and presentation. 🇦🇺 😊
ОтветитьThe cook (Spc 4 Ramirez) fm Echo Company in Ft Jackson SC back in .....1974 I believe it was....bought one of these w/his reenlistment bonus, brand new.....black like that one.....Those were the days my friends
ОтветитьThe reenlistment bonus was $6000 for six yrs of ur life.......many many GIs did it
ОтветитьHis sister, Karen Carpenter had the BEST voices ever! She past away wat too young! Very sad!
ОтветитьWhen this car goes to auction, that price is going to go thru the ROOF !!!
Sorry, guys, but my mind went there.
Hopefully, that day wont come for many, many years.
Lmfao 😂 rolled up sock comparison... You are the best.
ОтветитьJay I'm 57 now disabled wreck, tanker blew steer tire high way hit me in cab of mack highway. Every time I've got to watch you. I took the time to listen ❤
ОтветитьHi Richard big fan just curious did Karen ever drive the cud’s. Thanks
ОтветитьTwo classy guys in a classy car.
ОтветитьI loved the Carpenters it's get to know he is a car guy
ОтветитьShaker scoops in 1970 were supposedly all painted Argent Silver. If his was painted black from the factory, he's either got a very rare Cuda or has had at least the scoop re painted. Also hockey stripes in 1970 only option from the factory was in black. Makes me wonder about how original this Cuda really is. Beautiful car though.
ОтветитьHow this could be a survivor car in this condition after 40000 miles, I have no idea...really stunning.
ОтветитьHow cool is that license plate?!?
ОтветитьIt's great to see a car like this, one that has had top care from the day it was new. When it's original and people think it's been restored, that's saying something.
Ответить.....mopar man...regular guy...music royalty....
ОтветитьGorgeous car Mate, you should be proud.
ОтветитьThis car is absolutely gorgeous
ОтветитьI remember this guy from 40 years ago
ОтветитьIt's great to see Mr. Carpenter, love him.
ОтветитьIts always nostalgic seeing an older man in his 70s remember and refer to his father as 'dad', like no time has passed.
ОтветитьThis guy did it right. This Barracuda would be perfect for me. Standard power steering, standard power brakes, Torqueflite automatic. Works for me. I would also put in air conditioning and a CD player.
ОтветитьClassic 'Muscle Car' or 'Super Car', as they were called, back in the day...I've always loved that body style...the 450 Six Pack is a wonderful and underrated motor...
Thank you Richard and we miss Karen...❤
As a kid, our neighbor had something similar, ( don't remember the exact make/model), but back then I liked the accordion looking steering wheel...😮😂
ОтветитьI seen bout every episode of Nash Bridges with his partner/ sidekick cheech maron funny cop banter between the two humming through the streets of San Francisco. In the yellow Cuda you can hear the engine hold its revs 😊
ОтветитьDad born in 1920 since yall insist strange that we can still keep a roof over our head with food to eat and barely afford gasoline just have to get my word across hey Richard 👋
ОтветитьCame here by way of a Hot Wheels 'King Kuda. What an awesome car ...
ОтветитьThank you richard for showing us your incredible 70 cuda
ОтветитьOne Of My Favorite Muscle Cars, merci.
ОтветитьMy first car was a ‘66 Barracuda. Red with a black vinyl roof.
ОтветитьRichard was coming across this kind of nervous until you got into the scene of driving the car. He seemed to loosen up quite a bit. Not one mention of his sister, Karen.

ОтветитьCarpenter is looking good for his age❤
Ответитьi love his honesty ----
ОтветитьLove this car. ‘70 Cuda is my favorite muscle car ever. I always wanted one. Will never have one. Closest I got was my ‘69 383 Roadrunner with the 4 speed manual. No slouch at all. Lots of great and fast memories there.
Yesterday Once More
Come on jay. Even being seven years old i have to correct it. The Cuda was a different car than the barracuda. Look it up. One says barracuda on the back and the other just said 'cuda' . And you can tell an original Cuda because it was glued on. With the barracuda there was actually holes in the back for name emblem.
Amongst many other very small details that people try to hide or fake. The difference between a stock barracuda and an original cuda can be multiple digits.
Just curious, he mentioned the dealer warranty of 5 years/50K, verses the 90 day for the Hemi engine. I wonder how many times the car had warranty work done?
ОтветитьMurican cars have always been and always will be silly in a absolutely ridiculous and cartoonish way, but oh man, Cuda is really a very good-looking car. Even in todays (2024) standards.
ОтветитьTwo great car guys Doesnt get any better
Ответить7080 Roberts Ports
ОтветитьThese 2 guys cut from same cloth...just listen to them talk
Ответить1st year for Camaro was 1967, so that had only been out three years, not five.
Ответить1934 Schiller Spring
ОтветитьI'm sure Jay would've been singing "On Top Of The World" driving the Barracuda.
