A V8 and an automatic were a bad choice for a cabover. A straight six with a manual would be so much better for all around driveability and fun.

Engine swaps can break down, because it can lag and not work for the bikhanka suv like this. If you take the Toyotas engines like the v6 or older v6 engines, it will less likely to break . But with the Chevy v8, you get more problems. With the v6 engines you can keep the manual, or if you get the other v8 engine for swap, you can get the upgraded manual transmission though.
