I agree. I like to watch the Pro tournaments too and lateIy we are kinda missing them (as them Iacking).

It would be nice if they stopped doing guest characters and bring back interesting mortal kombat characters or have new original ideas. This is the only mortal kombat that has yet to introduce a new character to the series ( general shao doesn’t count go fuck yourself) like with havik i fully expected hotaru to be brought back. The kameo characters should’ve replaced the guest roster, imagine actually being able to play kameleon, mavado, sareena, shujinko etc.

This is their flagship product (consider: 30th anniversary). There will be another story DLC. They are far from done and it'll resemble Trilogy by the end of its lifetime.

Nothing is going to save this game and i love how people in the chat still want jade and cassie as dlc in mk1 cause they will sure fix this dumpster fire 🤦‍♂️

I think they should give every character a brand spankin new 3rd FATALITY. Like an epic one, even longer than the other cinematic. Drawn out for 5 more seconds of conematic fatality. Just to rub it into your opponents face. They could call it: "Torturality" Torture.

i cant have a single match in KL in this game, im using wired conection, i have good network but i can wait like hours and not find a match. that doesnt hapen in MK11, i played alot KL in mk11 but this game. not a single one, thats why i dont have with the game

tbh i don’t want any more story expansions for this game. cause you can just tell they ain’t got nothing to write about. KR was literal garbage no story progression no character development no interesting story.

The game is prob dead at a hyper competitive level, but it’s gunna be around for a few more years. Need Homelander on the 19th NRS. We tired of this Boy.

The only reason I play this game is because it’s Mortal Kombat…. But mk1 is very mid. It’s not great but eh it’s ok. To me what helped it to better is towers of time but it still feels like it lack a soul. I’ve been playing MK since the arcade days and this game just feels soulless. Some days I want to play but I don’t or I play but I don’t get that true excitement like I had from previous MK games. Like I said I truly think this game could have been better. Sometimes change isn’t always good…. Build off what you have and make it better. Just my opinion. Love you guys God bless!

Kameo characters need to be playable through multiple dlc packs stage fatalities 1v1

I agree completely with the "havik treatment" for the roster, some of them desperatley need this, and no way NRS will leave this game with a BS story ending and 2 of the worst guest characterers ever for fighting games... but aside from that i would like to see a 1vs1 mode since so many people wants it and we are losing on the casuals because of this.

The future of MK1 depends on people accepting that NRS has no intereat in making a legitimately competitive fighting game. MK is now just a game they make so everybody buys it, so 12yr olds can gross out grandparents with fatalites.

Add Jade to MK1 and everything will be fixed

I don't even know what happens in the story expansion, its way to expensive a game that didn't really give me much at release so i wouldn't be buying more expansións and if i wanted a crazy game I'll go to Guilty Gear
For this game i want a no cameo mode and buff caracthers that rely to much on the cameos

They said they are going to support this one longer so it should have a future for the next two years at least

This game hasn’t had a future since a month after launch if not sooner than that. This game fucking sucks. We don’t need more videos of the future of the game. No one gives a shit about this game beyond a handful of non streamers or pro players. It’s been dropped from EVO France 2025. Pretty telling news. Until Ed can pry this franchise from WB it will continue to be the worst franchise in the FGC.

I see what you mean when you want everyone in the game to be busted, but that's not going to happen, and it's not really a good idea, imo. All it would do is raise general power level and establish a new norm, and within that there are going to rise the exact same problems. Also, coming up with meaningful buffs is generally harder, or at least just as hard, as nerfs, which is a point often overlooked when people talk about how they only want buffs. Even games that do generally follow balance philosophy of making everyone busted constantly nerf characters, for example Dota 2. Every single hero in that game is stupid in one way or another, and every big patch makes them even stupider, but in between there are lots of nerfs.

They don’t care that’s the mindset in the gaming industry nowadays charging high amounts and micro transactions if you don’t wake up and realize this ur part of the problem
