Marcy has one saving trait. She takes care of her husband. Supportive was something that I liked about her. Also see that she was going though a hard time. So I cut her some slack.
The one that I really don't like is the one who is called Father.
He is a manipulative old man who tries to turn you against everyone and everything that you care about.
All on this suspect connecting of him claiming to be the players kid.
He also tries to control the whole commonwealth. Get you to kidnap people and manipulate others.

I always speed run killing mama Murphy. She is so annoying and that sight bullshit? What is that? That kid from New Vegas was kind of hinted at having it too but he wasn't and infuriatingly annoying little prick like the woman is. She doesn't even do anything, she literally get assigned to a special little chair you have to make for her. I truly hate that character. I kill her everytime just so I don't have to here her hippy drippy crystal worshipping astrology bullshit.

Hell nah Marcy is decked out with upgraded arms and armor and is the Security Director of my settlements. She is posted at Sanctuary patrolling, to busy to talk because she is doing her job.

I was in a particularly bad mood one day and decided to play a little FO4 and just so happen that I walked by Marcy Long. I didn't talk to her I didn't say a word I didn't touch her or even look her direction and she popped off with some sour comment about me and I stopped dead in my tracks and said "You know what, b*** that's it" and I went into her menu and transferred her to some far off distant settlement out away from everything else. She had it made in Sanctuary, hub of activity and all the fresh clean water she could ever want. But no she had to open that fat mouth that one last time and I banished her. Interestingly enough, her husband started acting much more cheerful and happy within days after she was gone. She was keeping him from finding any semblance of peace. Good riddance, Marcy.

Moe isn't really a bad guy. He's more like a puppy. He's not bright and barks a lot, but give him a baseball card and he'll roll over.

I think I would have to swap the Dr with Justin Ayo. That MF'er rubs me the wrong way immediately. lol

I used to hate Marcy. But honestly after hearing what their groups been through I dont blame her. Theyre more trusting than id be.

This is just down to dreadful writing, I don't mind there being characters like that in a game but the fact the game gives you zero options other than just sitting taking it, is just more Bethesda bland idea of rpg. The fact you cannot be a bad character is ludicrous. Look at FNV and the choices you can make, then compare it to this tosh. Until they get get decent writers all their rpg's will just keep being extremely boring, bland & unsatisfying to play.

Honestly Marcy makes sense to some extent but its a little surprising that they dont give you a quest to make her into a better person like idk retrieving her and her husbands son or daughter then giving them a proper burial back home in sanctuary hills or something to hopefully make her chill the fuck out.

But no just no, bethesda didnt even bother.

So with the creations workshop dlc ive actually seen people intentionally punish her by letting her chill in that mediaeval wooden device (forgot ehat its called) and some players even intenionally add motion sensor flamethrowers to that spot as for as long as its not you directly damaging her she is basically a essential NPC so she can't die. So these players tortured her for all eternity with their briliant barbeque cook out.

None of you apparently ever "romanced" Preston. Romancing a same sex companion is kinda asking for something, but being called "babe" was just too much for me. Since he cannot be killed he had to live for the rest of the game in an abandoned shack location in Far Harbor. Never going to make that mistake again.

I put up with Marcy for a long time during my first playthrough because I thought maybe she would stop complaining once Sanctuary was successful. since she never stopped I just sent her to a farming settlement away from the main settlement. I didn't build anything there except the minimums and all the beds are on the floors lol, lets see how she likes it there.

Friendly reminder that the Children of Atom are serial killers and do their damnedest to try making into mass murder.
Their religion is LITERALLY killing or ghoulifying everyone with radiation and atomic fire.
