Well done Latvia! Beating the Canadian kids in Canada is really impressive as it gets. The goalie was extremely impressive as well. (You might not have noticed from the highlights. 56 saves & 0 allowed in the shootout) The World Juniors are some of the best hockey that's played. Almost every game is exciting.

For some reason SHAW and TSN only show tsn2 and 3 in basic cable (I could watch the world Jrs on internet) but since they conspire to milk $$ out of Canadians I am cheering for team jr Canada to take a shit kicking and loose. 1 more reason to bail on Canada in general Justin Castro TSN and SHAW

Putting 5 scoring prima donas on the ice doesn't make a team. Why not use analytics to make the team? I'd suggest defense men be chosen in pairs with the best combined +/- rating. The centers and one winger are chosen with the best combined +/- ratio. (It's McDavid AND Draisaitl that works.) The third forward can be chosen with the best +/- ratio. We need a team that can win and not take 50 point shots.

Not only is this Canadian media organization not giving a goaltender credit they are making team Canada look bad I mean 56 saves and it’s all offensive goals and chances what a joke as someone who was a tendy when I was a kid in chapped these high action no goals just big saves and good chances games are the best and this highlight did it no justice

The selection committee for Canada selected a team that lost to... Latvia. Think of all the talent they snubbed in order to select a team that takes penalties like they just don't care, and couldn't score more than 2 goals on 56 shots. Man, at least we don't have to face Russia. Imagine losing to Russia on top of this.
