Thanks Frank and Angie. Great advice as usual. God Bless
ОтветитьDo you have anything on Paraguay?
ОтветитьGreat words of wisdom, I hope people pay heed. Btw, this sampling can be extended to literally any number of cities and countries around the globe, no exceptions. The only exceptions would be highly developed countries like Australia, NZ, Japan, Singapore etc - where you still exercise caution but don't have to be paranoiac about safety all the time :)
ОтветитьAs the saying goes: an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
The freaks come out at night?! Haha, I used to love that song by Whodini when I was in the 7th and 8th grades!
Why go to these places? Argentina and Chile are marginally more expensive but exponentially safer...
ОтветитьBrazil currently has a Leftist government. So just as with the Biden Administration, the crime statistics have been cooked to portray the government in a more positive light.
ОтветитьWho the he'll wants to go to that? Just stay where you safe.
ОтветитьSounds like Frank may have found himself being handed over to some kidnappers…
ОтветитьI retired twice. The first time i learned my lesson. I appeared to have money as i didn't change my behavior. Easy to make yourself a target if you look or act like you have money while residing in a nation where the standard of living is considered lower than the USA. Now, I live elsewhere and appear to be less noticeable. Blending in has its advantages of not making yourself a target
ОтветитьI'm surprised you didn't include southern Italy; there is a lot of foreigner gouging going on there.
ОтветитьI am glad I found this channel. I always get mocked for questioning safety and price gouging. It's always good to hear the first hand information.
ОтветитьI would stay out of Mexico.
ОтветитьI lived in Southern Brazil for awhile and here's my opinion: Sao Paulo is grossly huge and not very attractive. Rio is nice to visit but too many tourists.
The inland city of Curitiba in the state of Parana is nice, but my favorite is Florinopolis, the capital of the state of Santa Catarina, or Camboriù or Joinville.
I love Asia due to the less crime and places like Da Nang Vietnam, Hua Hin Thailand, and Georgetown Malaysia seem like perfect places for retirees. I am only in my 20s but moved to Asia from America.
ОтветитьPlease Do A Review Of Puerto Rico.
Thanks For The Awesome Videos.
✌️🖖
I been out of America for one year!. I`m coming home in Jan,3rd 2025!. So done being overseas! my last bucket list stop is Japan!, and the other thing is that Tourist are being killed and poisoned in Lao`s!
ОтветитьWe hope you stay safe the places you visit is crazy
ОтветитьDid you live next to Jesse Venture in The Baja, do they have good fish tacos?
ОтветитьKnowing this… why would any westerner in their right mind go anywhere in Brazil? High crime and a target for robbing or mugging. Seriously??
ОтветитьGo to southeast Asia—the Philippines, Cambodia or Thailand… all much cheaper and SAFER retirement destinations. Sure it’s farther away, but once you’re there, life is so much better living among friendly, chill, locals and the cost of good living is the lowest in the world.
Ответить>> BRAZIL is a DANGER ZONE!!!
ОтветитьVERY GOOD VIDEO: Spoiler alert—expats, stay out of Mexico and South America.
ОтветитьI was born in Bulgaria and speak the language, been in the US for 40 yrs. I was thinking of possibly moving back. Any suggestions or anything to watch out for there? Thank you
ОтветитьRecent new subscriber here. I've been binge-watching your videos. Great content. Would you have an online source stating the hours of sunshine/month for cities in the US ? I've seen the info on Wiki but it's usually for places in overseas countries and I'm looking for the US. Thanks.
