Since you seem to favor a mixed build instead of straight ap on malphite, consider taking "experimental hexplate".
Ult haste, attack speed for W, and move speed to stick on em after ult land.
Item has all useful stats for malphite, and it stacks with malignance ult haste. Just sayin

$500 for a skin is fine in my book as long as they make the game fun without it. Cosmetic crap like that is exactly how you should make money if you're a company like riot.
